Tickets are $212 for platinum GA standing. That's $850 for all 4 shows. Now for flights! Luckily I have family in Sydney and friends in Brisbane so flights will be my only expense after tickets!

HOLY SHIT I'M SO EXCITED

They're around $100 in the US, can't see them being expensive.

Doesn't matter, it is worth the money.

They were $150 when the dollar was low 60 cents back in 2003.

I am going to try to go to all the shows this time. If he waits another 10 years he will be 73 and he wont be jumping all over the place like he does know. At $200-$250 each i might cut out a couple of shows.

About bloody time! Bit dissapointed only one show in Brisbane. Thought he'd do a few more given the distance he's travelling to get here.

Will probably get me HR tix too and fly back to Victoria. Something tells me that show will be special.

Pre sale come at me.

And surely UpForGrabs you'll make the trek over?

I'll do my best, but I can't guarantee anything at all.

If I was single without a 6-month old kid it would be an easy decision... i'd find a way to make it so.

As it is, it'll be pretty selfish of me to leave the wife at home to look after my son while I trek across the country to see Springsteen play. $200 for a ticket + airfares + accommodation isn't something I can just say "no worries" to.

Especially since I need to stump up $150+ to see Neil Young & Crazy Horse that same month.

I'm just pissed at our exclusion yet again. 1985 - no Perth. 1997 (when it was just Bruce by himself) - no Perth. 2003 - no Perth.

And now in 2012, with our brand new arena open for business and attracting some great names, Bruce snubs us again, and chooses to play a gimick gig at Hanging Rock.

I don't think I've hated the guy as much as I do right now.

How many people will they squeeze into HR venue?

This tour has been set up for new shows to be added. He might not sell out stadiums in Oz, but he will probably fill 2 x 12,000 ( my guess on venue no.s here) in Brisvegas and 3 x 16,000 at Superdome in Sydney Olympic Park and 2 x 15,000 at Rob Laver + HR show. There will be double and triple up attendees. Gudinski and Jacobsen on their risk mitigation strategy I think.

27 years after the first time I saw him, I get to see him again. Budget is tight at the moment but something has to be done. Can't miss this.

Man, I'm so excited! Been waiting for this for so long! Can't stop thinking about now haha.

Is anyone doing the whole tour? Cruyff? I'd love to, but work doesnt permit.

Hmm, now the stress of getting tix! I'm going to two shows, which one do I get tix for first? I'll be risking shit seats for the other one. Decisions, decisions!

Do we know if the floor will be seated? Hate havin to get there hours in advance for a good spot!

Hanging Rock holds 20,000 from what I know, but can be modified for whatever they want. The front of the pit is Standing, then seats behind it, then a big lawn behind that for General Admission. Basic amphitheatre setup, but a pit rather than seats at the front.

I'm coming over from Adelaide for Hanging Rock. How the hell do I get there from the city?
