I am getting to Rod Laver Arena at 12pm. I don't care if I have to wait for hours, I want to be at the front of the line.

Will be making a Jungleland sign. Thinking of making the A in Jungleland the form of Australia, hopefully it stands out.

I have a feeling Jungleland will be played during at leat one of the five Melbourne shows, not prepared to take the risk though. I might even make two signs, Backstreets on the other!

What concert date you going to?

FFS it was so hectic buying the tickets it was like you were going to every concert in OZ.

I am at the Tues March 26th.

I will look out for your sign if its the same night.

You taking the same Jungleland poster for every show?

Is it from the Pit that he selects or all over the stadium?

Wow, I hope merch prices stay that reasonable at the shows. Would love one of these:

Yes. If he collects it, I will make another and cross the date(s) out he didn't sing it at.

If it stands out in the crowd, you might have some luck.

...and have you both been in touch with 'ACA' or 'TT' or 'Sunrise' or 'TODAY' yet?
Haha no.

T's will be $45-$50 like they are at every concert.

The Age getting on board

Sticking his neck out

IT'S A fair question, as we prepare for an all but sold-out 10-date national visit by Springsteen and his E Street Band, as part of a 133-show world tour that was last year's second-highest grossing tour and has critics and fans gushing.
Sure, he's the man who played at Barack Obama's presidential inauguration and, yes, he's been quoted, misquoted, criticised and eulogised, but how could he mean anything to us?
Well, here's a few reasons why New Jersey's second-most famous son is worth talking about.
Sticking his neck out

Tonight I was in the very arena where it will be Boss Time exactly one week from now. As I looked around the still-empty BEC a few hours before the Neil Young show tonight, it hit me how epic Bruce's show will be next week. It's such a small arena for an entertainment centre for a city of almost two million, but the sound it produces for rock shows is perfect and there is not a bad seat in the house. As I gazed up from sitting on the floor at the front of house, it leaped out to be how even the absolute nosebleeds will be so close and see absolutely everything. Then I noticed where I'll be, about 2/3 back, halfway up the lower tier on the left of stage. Looks like ideal vantage. /post-1am on a Friday rambling.

Probably better I'm seated for this one as I wouldn't be able to get there in time to secure the best spot in the pit. The lunacy of queuing up from early afternoon will begin in Melbourne.

My signs in Melbourne will be:
  • Murder Incorporated
  • Adam Raised a Cain
  • The Fever (long odds to say the least)

I think Murder Inc would be an awesome show opener. Love that track.
