I love how the setlists look nothing like they did at the start of the tour :thumbsu:

If March shows is the go, that's only four and a bit months away. Usually tickets for big names go on sale at least five months beforehand. Will be in NZ for two weeks in March as well, might have to catch him here and over there.

Outside of Jersey is there a better place to see Bruce than at the Ullevi in Sweden? The amount of epic shows he has played there is phenomenal. I mean, he played Jungleland (AS A FINALE!!!!) there for the first time after Clarence's death. Then there is the Drive All Night epic that I think he has played the last three times he's been there. And we can't forget the stadium breaker....

Also; interesting to see the different arrangement. I prefer the Magic Tour arrangement myself. It's a shame it doesn't get more a of a run, surely one of his best IMO.

And look at the atmosphere; electric!!!!

Thanks Cruyff14 for all those videos. Ullevi is the football stadium in Gotenberg and where the IAAF 1995 world championships were held. My late Swedish brother in law saw the boss there travelling up from Stockholm. He also saw him in a smaller indoor venue in Stockholm.

Thunder Road seems to be a song that Bruce plays as a thank you / tribute when people pass away. He did the following version for the late Tim Russert - the former moderator of NBC's Meet the Press for 16 years and NBC's Washington correspondent for many years.

Russert booked the boss for his small Clevaland College in 1972 or 1973. Was always a fan but didn't think he was worthy to interview the Boss, but would grill presidents, secretaries of state and defence and powerful political figures and was always in the front row if he played at NBC or went to a concert.

Bruce Springsteen paid tribute to late NBC journalist Tim Russert during his concert on Saturday night (June 14th 2008) in Cardiff, Wales. Russert died on Friday of a sudden, fatal heart attack at age 58.
Prior to launching into "Thunder Road," Springsteen said a few words about Russert, which were posted on his official website, brucespringsteen.net:

"I'd like to do this tonight for a long time friend of the E Street Band who passed away suddenly.
"Tim Russert was an important unreplacable voice in American journalism. I watched him hold our politicians feet to the fire on many Sunday mornings. He was always a strong voice for honesty and accountability in American government. But beyond that he was a lovely presence, a good father, husband, and good guy. He was a regular at many E Street Band shows and I'm going to miss looking down and seeing that big smiling face in the crowd.

"We send this out all the way back to the States tonight for his son Luke, his wife Maureen, his dad Big Russ, and all the Russert family. Tim, God Bless You, We will miss you."

He did this tribute song Thunder Road live from his Euro tour on an NBC memorial show to Russert.

Thanks. Yeah I figured Greasy Lake would be in there, but with social media and smart phones I guess people instantly post songs.

I got that version of Drive All Night.

You've got the epics in there, Backstreets, Jungleland, Racing, Incident. They should be in any fans top 10. All you're missing is Rosie.

What don't you like?
