There's no cover at Rod Laver.

Personally I think you're nuts wanting to get there so early.

I'd recommend a few refreshments at The Corner and wander down to RLA around 5.30.
 
Also, if you're doing multiple shows, and have GA for them, pick one show where you go early, and the others just waltz in later.

Hanging Rock 1 I'm going pretty early to get a good spot. Night 2 I will be consuming a few brews and wandering over at whatever time I feel like.

'Getting there early' is cool. Just don't let it ruin your experience.
 
But, it's Bruce! A once in a lifetime experience. We went through all the stresses of getting these pit tickets, it would be silly not to try and get as much out of them as you can. Seems a waste to buy GA ticket and be happy standing at the back of the pit with a sea of heads in front of you. May as well have just got a seat.

That being said...any chance you could get there late-ish and just push through to the front? lol

I remember with Pearl Jam us folks in the first few rows stood pretty firm all night, not letting any latecomers through.

Just to add...I reckon HR is going to be the hardest of all to get a good pit spot at. It's the only one with opening acts (I think), so people will be quite content to get there early.
 
So, basically decided I'm gonna go to work until 12 on Thursday, then head to the entertainment center. It's only about 10-20 mins down the road from where i work.

No doubt some ****in nerd will be there at 8am or some crazy shit and rob me of the perfect spot, but I think it'll be early enough to get a reasonable possy.

If you get to the venue at 12.30 I don't think you'll have too many issues getting a good spot.

Wrecking Ball is gonna be ****ing nuts. That is actually a great song, this is the best version of it I have seen. I prefer the original of LOHAD but this one is still good.

You've Got It is also good, but wouldn't be shattered if I didn't hear it. Jack of all Trades is meh for me. I don't see the fuss in it.



Love the little added intro at the beginning.

Can just imagine him shouting 'COME ON MELBOURNE, LET ME HEAR YOUR VOICES CALL!'
