Have a number & now in a fenced off area, which if you rock up now you can't get in. Wristband are coming. Not really sure what's the go but it is very organised. Newbies are abit bewildered, but heaps of diehards here!

Thanks, I am going out early on Friday. Was thinking about 12 noon. What time did you line up? and did everyone who was there at 3 get a number or was there a cut off point?
Oh and can you leave the fenced off area once you get your wristband?

I got here at about 215 & got 123, there were a few overnighters & some that rocked up at 530. Roll calls at 6am, 9am, 12& 3pm. You can leave the fenced area to go to the loo or merchandise/food.
The cut off was at roll call, a few cut dropped off the list as they weren't there.
I would say once word starts getting out people will start coming earlier & earlier. A die hard told me that anywhere in the first 200 is a good get

Thanks Netti. In Brisbane there were about 1,200 in the Pit so if its the same in Sydney then if I get there before 12 I should hopefulley get in the first 200 on Friday.
Sounds like the same drill as brisbane. Is it a short American bloke by the name of Danny (I think) doing all the work?
I got ther @ 1:30 and got #68 Russ. Probly be a few more in Sydney tho, especially now that word is out about the whole first 200 thing.
