Wow what a great set list, 27 songs - this show looks as good as Sydney 2nd show which also had 27 songs and Jungleland as well. I think both shows had 14 songs the same. Can't believe he pulled Better Days, Factory and I'm going down out of the back pocket!

I make it 7 of the 8 songs on Born to Run have been played, 9 of the 10 on Darkness and 11 of the 12 on BITUSA.

Melbourne got 2 new tour songs on Sunday night, 3 Tuesday night and 7 tonight

In Melbourne 12 of the first nights 24 songs were repeated tonight ( 9 bold + Hungry Hearts + Spirit + Darlington County) and 13 different ones sung tonight. So 37 songs sung in 2 nights. tonight there were 7 new songs for the tour and 6 he didn't play in the other 2 shows, so that's 50 songs over 3 shows.

I have it as 75 songs on tour so far if you split the Apollo Medley into 2 songs - which it clearly was.

Cruyff14 and jpkennedy where were you guys last night? Sounds like you might have been just to the right of the small stage that juts out but on that corner rail..

Yep, I was right in the corner, smack in between Bruce and Tom. Sensational spot!

In regards to Tuesday night...

Wrecking Ball seriously goes off live. Spirit was fantastic. I was absolutely weeping during My City of Ruins. It wasn't the tributes to Clarence and Danny (I haven't been a fan long enough!) It was the way Bruce commands an audience. I was completely overwhelmed with emotion. I was moved. What can I say, I'm an emotional girl. Cried my little eyes out. I love that not only is Bruce the quintessential entertainer, full of character and energy and still with incredible control and skill in his voice, but he genuinely loves his fans. He loves being out there, performing for them and being amongst them. How many other mega famous stars crowd surf every single night? There is a level of love and trust there, it's so cool!

Cried again later in the show during The Ghost of Tom Joad, just because it was so completely fvcking epic, I just couldn't believe it was happening right in front me. Tom is incredible, there are no other words I know, all the superlatives, he is incredible. As much as I love Bruce, seeing Tom play like that has honestly been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Didn't know Bruce could wail like that either! It was, quite simply, one of the best things I've ever seen in my entire life. I want to re-live those few minutes over and over! Tom coming down to give me his pick at the end of the night made me cry again. Pathetic! :D

Really happy to hear She's the One and absolutely STOKED to get Rosie!! Awesome!

Enjoyed tonight's show, was good to get a different view from the seats, but the pit is definitely the way to go! Excited to be there on Saturday. My mouth was on the floor during Tom Joad tonight. Just in disbelief. heck!!!

I think we can safely assume that Cruff had a heart attack when The Boss saw his sign. Fare thee well. Go long into that good night.

I am 100% certain Bruce said tonight after taking the Jungleland sign for the encore: "This one is for Ian". Had to be Cruyff. How did he get his people to talk to Bruce's people? I'm back in the country folks, as of yesterday morning. Man what a show tonight was, totally blew my first show (Brisbane 1) out of the water. Although I had seats for that (was in the pit tonight) and still loved it. Tonight I was on Nils' side, slightly to his left, so about 3m from the front and 4-5m from Bruce. The crowd was superb all around the arena from what I saw and the pit was unreal. When he opened with not only one song from Magic, BUT TWO... mind=blow. Flood....woah. Youngstown, loved having with this and Tom Joad in the same set, love hearing Charles' accordian front centre. My makeshift sign for Murder Incorporated was some scribble on the back of the map I used to find RLA from my accomodation with a texta. It got played, so I'm claiming it. The dickhead in front of me holding a Racing sign said to me "haha, he won't play that one." Shows what you know ****head. And of course the rousing encore (without ever leaving the stage, haha) of JUUUUUNGLLLLLLAAAND. Highlight for me was getting splashed by Bruce's magic sponge just prior to American Land. :thumbsu: Obviously I've missed the whole tour between Brisbane 1 and now, but wow Morello played a lot of guitar tonight than he did in Brisbane, far more than Nils. Bruce seems to lovew having him in the band, and it is certainly a very fresh sound with him there. My voice was already stuffed from my trip to NZ, but come tomorrow I'll be mute. Dinner of a sausage roll and a Slurpee from the 7-11 down the road really hit the spot. **** it was hot in there tonight . I agree with whoever said the queuing proceedure is a joke. FMD, Bruce tours America every other year and now the seppos are everywhere over here once we finally get a tour. I was there at 4:45 and still got a fantastic spot up the front, so it all seems a but pointless to me. And if people are lining up overnight, then that's just ******. My GA spot on Saturday will be a good one, no matter what I have to do.
Crappy computer I'm on won't let me use paragraph breaks? WTF?!

Forgot to say - chatted with a colleague who went to Tuesday's show. She said she didn't like it all that much because Bruce didn't play enough 'hits' and she felt like he was preaching to the audience! I was like, well yeah, he was...HE'S THE BOSS!!! And I heard people bitching tonight because BitUSA wasn't done, I was like, STFU you morons! If you had a single clue you'd be thrilled to hear him sing ANYTHING live. BitUSA isn't even one of his best songs! Ugh. UGH! I bet they're the same losers who yell at other people to sit down in their seat when they've been up dancing! IT'S SPRINGSTEEN. Have fun!!!

Yes! I thought I heard that too!! Didn't see Cruyff14 after the show - details please!!!!

I also got the sponge on Tuesday night, ha! Good times. Played Bruce's guitar too. God, it was seriously the best night of my life. Better than the grand final!

Tell me about it! At the first Brisbane show, I had some old bat tap me on the shoulder to tell me I was leaning too far forward in my seat. I politely declined her offer and continued to enjoy myself. I noticed Bruce say tonight he's trying harder to get the seats involved after what happened at that show. Good stuff.

Yeh i was there. thats not the sign bruce got. It was black writing on white paper and it said something like 'jungleland please jake' with the j done as a saxamaphone

I met people like that in the 2 shows I wasn't in the pit. My thought at the time was why did these pricks pay $180/$190 and not really know much of his stuff and know he plays songs from all over the years and albums and not many "hits."

As my father would say they have more dollars than sense. there is no way i would pay that money for someone i have one or two albums. Makes me wonder how many A grade seats were lost to these type of people.

Unless he changed his sign because it didn't get Bruce's attention on the first night.

They go to see events not heroes. The 'I can say I was there' crowd.
