This is the first sale, with a limited number of tickets.

Don't panic. If not today, use the right strategy, and you will get good tickets on the public sale.

Calm down dude, I've heard the pre-sale is only like 5-10% of total seats.

Use your mobile (or the mobile site on a desktop) on Monday and all will be fine. It's quite easy.

The ultimate aim of a pre-sale? To get interest and promotion of the event. Purely and simply. Now I know Bruce doesn't need any more interest - tickets will go like hot cakes - but that is why they do them.

Second to that is to guage whether they will add second or third shows. Which I'm near certain they will.

Third, to sell some of the crappy tickets to people who panic :)

There are only a handful of tickets on sale at pre-sales.

All very true.

Just disappointing at all. Not really sure I'll ever bother with a pre-sale again.

Frontier would have known how many people had signed up for pre-sale info over the past week or so. They would've seen the interest. As I said... really disappointing.

There are other avenues for me to get tickets - especially since I work for a company who sponsors the arena and has a box, and the right to buy tickets. And I could have used that option.

But you know what... this is Bruce and I wanted to go it myself and feel that rush. Here's hoping Monday's a better day.

Managed to snaffle a front GA for Adelaide.

Was a shit-fight though. Certainly need to be persistent.

There were way less on sale this time compared to the last tour. Way less. They will sell fast on Monday but people should be OK.

Try to have at least two devices going at once - computer (using mobile site) and mobile (using mobile site).

Hope people get their tickets. Remember that last time a lot of people failed completely on sale day, then within a few days had tickets to the shows they wanted, through this place or others.
 
Lucked out big time, got GA for Adelaide.

I opened up two m.ticketek pages one for GA and one for A reserve seats on the floor and loaded up to the point it let me go to as advise by MWNN earlier today. Rang up 1194 to synchro my watch to the proper time. I was going to try GA first then A reserve straight after.

3 seconds after 3-30 hit GA purchase and within 10 seconds got a GA seat. It probably took me 2 or 3 minutes to fill out the payment so that would have clogged up the system for others trying.

Wish I had the cash now to have purchased Melbourne and Sydney and probably would have been silly enough to have a crack at Brisbane.

Section: SGA-EAST

I assume that means enter from the east? But I assume that would be irrelevant if they do the line up stuff like in March?
 
Yeh ignore the EAST/WEST. Doesn't mean anything.

For those in Adelaide - if you LITERALLY click retry 50 times on the seated options, you will get some.

Since I got my GA I have gone back in and tried seats, and they say "unavailable", but after a heap of refreshes, they give you seats.

Pulled up some good Section B's and Side A's. Thrown them back in obviously. But it can be done.

Ended up with a couple of GA Front's for Melbourne and 3 GA's for Adelaide. The Adelaide pre-sale was a piece of piss, had the whole transaction done by 4.02

I'll try to get some good seating for Adelaide if he does another show there and same for Melbourne.

I had a look at A Reserve seating for AAMI Park for a start, but was only offered Sec73, Row H (up in the stands). Went back in and got pit tickets instead. If I can get really, really good seating next week, I may offload the pit tickets so I can take my son in comfort.

I went through an agent via a friend. Quite stressful, may not even have the tickets till a few weeks before the gigs, but I have been told everything is fine and we are guaranteed tickets.
