Springsteen and I is on next Sunday on SBS 9-30pm. They had the first of their music doco's in that timeslot tonight on music producer, record mogul - set up hi own label - and hollywood producer and studio mogul David Geffen.

Jon Landau was on a few times in tonight's doco talking about Geffen.

Bruce did a great Just Like Fire Would at Brisbane 1.Nice linking a new Oz tour to a cover of an Oz classic. Would be interesting to see if it gets airplay in USA.

From my review of Sydney 2nd show re High Hopes

But the tempo is cranked up again with High Hopes. I’m not sure if Bruce based his original Blood Brothers version based on the Havalina’s 1990 version or the 1987 original, but with the E Street band, it’s like you are in a Cuban club in Miami, or Cuba, or Puerto Rico or in Latin America. When the horns kick in I got visions of Gloria Estefan’s Latin big band.
