On second spin, the middle of the record lulls a bit. The Wall, Harry's Place, Joad, Skin and and Fire Would stick out.

Some of the lyrical content is a tad "religious". Usually Bruce engages spirituality and faith, but not in an evangelical sense. Interesting, but not my cup of tea.
 
Back to the tour - I'm obviously pumped, but just realised it's 6 weeks away. Huge.

I didn't go to any of the arena shows last year (only Hanging Rock, with the opening bands). Question - Bruce onstage at 8.00pm on the dot? Or was it later? Ticket time is 7.30 and obviously no opening band for the arena shows again.

How did this unfold over the rest of the country in March?

Were people getting #'s before the date of the gig?

And where did #35 get you in the end? Can you explain the bold?

Generally the line started in the afternoon on the day before the gig. So for a Friday night show, people were lining up from Thursday arvo. Nothing official is organised by Bruce's people, but they do honour what the fans organise - it's all been going on a long time, so even though the events people (Ticketek etc) will say there's no camping out/lineup in advance...there is. Roll call is organised by one of the big fans, on the Wrecking Ball tour it was either one of a couple of American blokes who followed Bruce around the world, or this crazed Australian bloke named Graham. Those guys would just sit there outside the arena, day and night. You rock up whenever and get a number in line - they write it on your hand - and then you can either hang around or, if you're lucky enough to live or be staying close by, you can go away and come back. Roll call is a pre-organised time when everybody agrees to meet to literally do a roll call. If you're not there at those times, you lose your spot in line. So you do the roll call at say, 11pm, then they say, 'Okay, everybody back here at 6am.' Then you go for the 6am roll call, then they tell you the next time. So you need the time off work, for sure :D

#35 would have been Melb 3, where was I for that...oh yeah! Here.

who's going to the February 15th concert in Melbourne? I'm working that day so won't be doing anything remotely like lining up...and have to work the Sunday too.
