Yeah, but you are talking from the perspective of someone who has attended multiple shows across the last two Australia tours. Most don't have the time or money to do that.

I've been to 3 concerts, heard Bobby Jean twice. 1985 and 2014.

They can't change up their entire setlist with the handful of diehards who follow them around the country in mind. It would be counter productive to what they are trying to achieve.

I think they did a sensational job to reward diehards with their whole album sets, at the risk of boring others. I've seen some comments from casual fans who didn't appreciate that last Brisbane concert as much as they should, and I saw some leaving about 20 songs in. They still have to appeal to the masses, win over the casual fans AND reward the diehards.
 
I'm ready to rank my seven shows thus far...

Brisbane (High Hopes)

Not sure whether I want him to or not. Love the fact that he has rediscovered Australia and loves our crowds. I am buying a house though. Pretty sure I won't get away with buying tickets again next year, given the wife can't afford to go to Robbie Williams this year.

I was looking forward to going to see Robbie, big fan. But his ticket prices are crazy. More than Bruce FFS.

I didn't hear it at all last year in the five shows I did.

This year I heard it at three of the five shows I attended (granted it was only played at one Perth show and not played in Adelaide at all), but it was played in five of the 11 shows here.

I do get your point though, people left the Melbourne shows early too. Twats.

By the sounds of things it will be 2015 or 2016 and its going to be February or March when the weather is shitty in the northern hemisphere.

I had a chat with someone about this last week, i myself think that every Bruce song is a gem in it's own way regardless if it was top of the charts and more commercially known or not. I would be in heaven no matter the set list. I have not done so yet but i will gradually buy all of the live downloads.
 
Are we still doing top 5 moments of the tour? Okay.

1. Adelaide 1
Standing on the barrier right next to Bruce and Jake sitting on the fenders during Spirit In The Night, so close I could hear Jake's sax directly over the big speakers and the fenders.

2. Perth 3
Bruce jumping up on the barrier right in front of me for a couple of lines during Tenth Avenue. Had him singing right in front of me. At that point of the show, he's so sweaty his arms are basically water FYI.

3. Perth 2
High fiving Nils and Curtis, patting Bruce, Jake, Curt and Clark on the back.

4. Multiple shows
Being looked at and winked at by Jake on about 4 occasions.

5. Melbourne 2
Springsteen, Clemons, Weinberg, Van Zandt, Tallent and Bittan performing Born to Run like it was almost 40 years ago. Life completing.
 
It's probably in here somewhere but what's with the live downloads site? It tells you to select a shipping option where you can presumably choose a USB or a download, and it has no options so you can't proceed.

The common fix is to change the currency of the site from AUD to US

When i purchased my first download (Melbourne 1) the other week, i just added the site to the exception list in adblock plus and i was able to get past the shipping option.

Looks good and I will no doubt download it soon. Only about 10 songs in common. I'm more looking to relive the audience interaction stuff, although it looks like some might have been cut.

Missed Out In the Street this year and last, saw it in 85. That would be something I want to hear again. The covers are good because most are unlikely to be recorded but I prefer his own stuff.

Looking back at 85 again, Can't Help Falling In Love, Who'll Stop The Rain, Rockin' All Over the World (remember this vividly), and Twist & Shout. Not bad concert covers. It started raining half way through and it was an outdoor venue. Didn't think anything of it at the time, but obviously the CCR song was adlibbed on the spot.

In 30 seconds of incomprehensible crappy whining, she tries her very best to completely ruin the 20 minute epic 10th Avenue Freeze Out.
