Given the fact that a fair chunk of the Trump base ( white working class males ) are undoubtedly fans of Springsteen his preparedness to express his dislike for the Republican candidate show a selfless integrity. Springsteen is not a diplomat, he is a high profile musical icon who has decided in the last decade or so to use his influence to push his political view. His decision to campaign for Obama in 2008 and 2012 was always going to be an enormous professional risk but he didn't care as he regarded the Presidential outcome as far to important to worry about pissing off an element of his fans. There are too many people of influence who are afraid to take a stand on divisive issues out of fear of upsetting potential consumers. Someone like Clint Eastwood is not among them and he freely puts at risk his standing among his colleagues in the mostly liberal world of movie making by supporting Republicans. I don't agree with a lot of his political views but I admire him for having the nuts to take a stand. Springsteen is entitled to do likewise and anyone who finds that dissapointing hasent been following his career closely enough.

I watched him in a Black and White Night w/ Roy Orbison He thinks he's a rocker. I couldn't stand watching him his facial distortions was ruining the show for me I had to look away.

So is it looking like announcement Tuesday, tickets on sale Thursday and concert February?? **** I hope not I've have a big August in outgoings and will have also for first week of October. Deposit interest rates are **** all so why not wait until December? Its not like they will have massive up front costs.

Surely that is only for outdoor shows at Hanging Rock and the Wineries. No need for a back up band for indoor shows.
