I remember him on SAFM in 80s, from memory he runs some sort of broadcasting school now.
He was part of the original SAFM team..... David Day, John Vincent, Grant Cameron era.
As I said I remember the name and that he was part of that SAFM crew with David Day and Vinnie but I have a mental blank about what he sounded like and that he sang. I remember Vinnie and his band the Ken Oath Okestra.

That's about the extent of my recollection too.

I have a spare ticket for the Melbourne concert on Thursday. My friend got sick today - she paid $150 but will listen to offers. PM me if you want it!

The Honeymooners bit was so ra Dom and had no idea where they were going with it. But glad it was Brown eyed Girl since everyone knows that song. Was stoked he played Glory Days and Spirit in the Night. Wanted Lost in the Flood but can't win them all haha.

Disappointed in paying $30 for the program, read the thing in 5 minutes! Photos from the original tour were really cool but would've liked a bit more stuff to read.

Here is the back story to the Honeymooners on a Today Tonight short segment. I now recall Pembo's voice, but can't recall that face. I guess they go down as the Adelaide/Australian equivalent of the Phillie Elvis and might feature on the next version of Springsteen and I. Pembo says its the highlight of his life!

I briefly spoke to Pembo's brother Rick - who played Ralph, after the show and asked if Roy was upset that he lost his piano and he said he was a good laugh about it all. I remember him saying it took a bit of time to get their signs and costumes together.
