Was really great. My only complaint is that the last Bruce concert I saw in Melbourne, he played the whole Born in The USA Album and we got another 6 this time round.

Awesome concert though, so happy I got to hear Mary's Place.

Don't Hang Up was a hilarious way to kick things off

Did not play Backstreets, Jungleland, Thunder Road, Growin Up and Lost in the Flood amongst others and it was still an epic gig.
Long Walk Home was song of the night for me. Brilliant version.
Cannot wait till Saturday.

Any photos from the stands that give a view of how big the pit is?

There is a clip on Periscope.
Looked like way too much space at the back.
But then Melbourne 2 Map had a smaller Pit area.
Looking at the Periscope clips...to me...the verdict is still out if you are not up close to the stage as to whether or not AAMI is a good venue.

I was about five rows back from the first pit and the sound was pretty damn good from where I stood. Still reckon it a million times better than Etihad or the M.C.G as a venue.
I don't think you will be disappointed.

A good show without being great. Was crying during Ties, had not heard it and was dying to hear it, great. Serenade was stunning, and Long Walk Home also great.

It was very mainstream. I enjoyed it obviously still, but have seen better shows.

Any line up started for Saturday night started?
Yes. I got 125 after the show but am not going to roll call because it is going to be too hot.

It will be over 200 by the end of today I think.

Off topic...but do the Band get a chopper out to Hanging Rock?
Yes.

Watched it on Periscope and while slightly jealous I wasn't there, I'm happy with my decision to drive to Adelaide rather than Melbourne. Crossed Racing in the Street and Ties off my list in the one show and I feel that it is a far, far better venue.

I was severely tempted to head down on Saturday night, but I think I'll save my cash and just wait for Hanging Rock.

Looks like you were nice and close to the front.

Yeah it gets a pass as a big venue (full strength piss :thumbsu:) - don't think I could do the G or Etihad.

Thought the mix favoured the keys over the strings too much, but that's just my opinion.

Great gig. Setlist was kind of what I expected, was happy with it. I'm on Fire was a nice surprise, and really enjoyed Ties that Bind. Great to see Steve live for the first time.

My favourite still was the first RLA gig in 2013. Small venue, full stage. Was great.

Yeah. Good show without being great.

Serenade was magnificent.

Wat happens if you miss roll call?
You're off the list.

Must admit that this show still holds up as my favourite as well. Great seat, great venue, full band, fantastic setlist, Tom Morello and 10 years of eager anticipation made for a night that I'll never, ever forget.

edit: not quite a full band...no Stevie. Didn't matter.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Thought it was funny that he did so many songs from BITUSA, yet decided not to sing the title song :( Ah well, maybe another time.
Got to hear Murder Incorporated which was awesome, and the fireworks at the end was probably the only time I have ever thought that fireworks added something. Badlands was also one of my favourite performances of the night!
