He stayed away because the promoter took a bath on the tour. I read somewhere that it was the first time since the 70s that a Springsteen tour actually lost money.
Should have done multiple nights at Rod Laver with a ga section at the front like the 2014 & 2017 tours.

Yeah, the Marvel gig was filled by corporates up close and I think that pissed Bruce off. Not sure how true it is, but there are rumours that's why he stayed away for so long.

The Sydney show was one of the first concerts I ever went to. The power cut out probably around half a dozen times. You could see the shadows of the band on stage getting increasingly pissed off.

As I receive more information, I will let more out. But at this stage it’s only early but there’s hope on seeing the great man here.

Bruce was really pissed off. Promoter Kevin Jacobsen was cutting costs as AUD fell a fair bit against USD over a couple months and didn't provide enough generators.

But we got Rosalitia as our reward for being patient. Bruce had only played that a handful of times in the previous decade or so.

He did say as an intro to one song, think he sat down at the piano, that if he gets asked if he remember's the Sydney concert, he said he will remember this concert, and he wont be kidding to say it just to be nice.

Edit I looked at the set list and I reckon he said what I wrote in the previous paragraph, when he started the 2nd encore with My City of Ruins which he played on piano.

If you look at the set list notes in the link below he played 3 more songs, then Rosalita and then Darlington County and the link says - not on written setlist - for both these songs. I reckon Bruce gave a bit back to us for the stuff ups with the power.

This from his website. This sounds definitive....

16 EUROPEAN SHOWS FOR OVER 700,000 FANS WILL CONCLUDE ‘ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL TOURS OF ALL TIME’ (POLLSTAR)

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will return to the road on May 14 for their only shows of 2025, bringing “The Land of Hope & Dreams Tour” to more than 700,000 fans in six countries this summer. Beginning with a three-show run in Manchester, England next week, these 16 scheduled dates will serve as the finale to a tour that’s been deemed “the greatest show on earth” (Billboard) and “a masterclass in the uplifting power of rock-and-roll” (Washington Post). Beginning in February 2023, with Springsteen and The E Street Band’s first shows in six years, the current run of 130 dates has sold over 4 million tickets across continents, been named Pollstar’s Rock Tour of the Year (2024) and resulted in the critically-acclaimed documentary “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band” (available on Hulu and Disney+).

Ok this is what I know as of two weeks ago. Discussions between all parties was about to recommence.

My understanding is this was initiated by the great man’s camp.

That is very encouraging.

Looking at early 2026.

Waiting to hear more.

So at this end it’s how they can make it all work.

I find it a little odd they’ve rebranded these 16 shows in Europe, The Land Of Hope And Dreams tour. If i was a betting man and I could be completely wrong, there’s a reason for this. Gut feel , a tour continues in 2026 under this name.

Well that’s a little better than your original post, which with all due respect was as lame af because it lacked any detail, which you have improved upon, but is still no different than the posts claiming a tour going back the past 2 years

Mate , you can do what you like with what I say. My track record with people that know me, know that over the years our mail has been 100% on the money. Where this information is obtained from clearly I’m not at liberty to say. But like I mentioned contact has been made to those that put the tours on down here, and it’s up to them to be able to work out a deal. If they want it, they’re ready to come.

You are totally missing the point
