Sounds like Gudinski Jr trying to match/out do dad. Frontier would be the only promoter interested in doing something that big.

Ed Sherrin got 109,500 2nd night at the MCG and 108,000 first night in 2023. Ok Jr has outdone dad as Michael passed away in late 2021. Unless I was guaranteed of being within 40m of the stage not sure I'd be that interested in attending.

Would probably be 2nd biggest crowd Bruce has played to. In July 1988 he played in East Berlin at the Radrennbahn Weissensee cycling track when 300,000 people turned up and it was broadcast live in East Germany which was a shock when I found out a dozen years after the event. The wall came down 16 months later. Bruce paid a small part in speeding up the process.

I’ve seen U2, Madonna and Bon Jovi at the MCG. Sound was shocking and view terrible. Unless you are in the Pit, a DVD is your friend. Bigger is not always better.

The G is the worst for Music Acts. Pitiful in fact. $$$$$$$

Wouldn't even bother if you have to sit in the stands.

Got really good seats for Billy Joel on the ground and the sound was good.

If it's some "one night only" Billy Joel type deal then that'd be a kick in the guts.

I certainly trust Frontier over Live Nation though.

Absolutely. If Springsteen's management use the dynamic pricing model for tickets like they did in the US then it's double no from me.

Waiting on more info from my sources. A mate in Europe says Max manager reckons Australia February tour is again off the table. I have no idea if this is true or not. Will reach out to our sources and get a definitive answer one way or the other. Personally I have not heard this.

There are two really big tours being announced in July. One will be Ed Sheeran. Not that I think he is big. It then comes down to who is the other. Have a feeling that will be AC/DC , but hopeful of Bruce. Will await further info and post as it comes to hand, good bad or indifferent.
