Looks like its another great initiative from Sam Lord. Don't think any other club has done anything like this. Would be awesome playing with or against Simon Black and other Lions. Great way of building stronger ties with Fitzroy FC.

Definitely a great idea to reconnect the club with its roots in Victoria in an innovative way where supporters can rekindle the connection with their club as being in a different state has its challenges!

It is all Sam Lord and will be a sensational arvo. I know the PGA pro-ams, playing with a hero so to speak in the field of battle makes it an incredibly engaging experience.

A strong Fitzroy FC connection to it also which is great. Wait till you see who is unveiled to be playing it will be fantastic to simply watch and enjoy Brunswick Street back to its best.

Imagine being hit up leading out of the forward pocket to a Simon Black pass, slotting it through and Blackie giving you a high five and saying well done.

Then the hammy pings and it’s beers on ice watching him go. What a way to spend the day
