With most here damning both Wiggins and Bandy, is it time to give Bruton a go?

If was selected, I'd want to see him get significant game time.

And if he was playing, what to do with Bandy and Darcy? I always thought Darcy could make a half decent CHF.

Bruton played pretty well on Saturday - certainly dominated the hitouts. Could be worth a go and yeah, Darcy on the forward line sounds good. Wiggo didn't get much time on the ground did he? Bandy - injured? A rest looks good for him.

Agree completely. I think we should all email Rohde to tell him just that.

Could be worth a shot - Bandy hasn't done much at all the past two weeks with many citing injury as the cause. He is an important part of the structure but its useless if he can't take 8+ marks a game and kick at least 3 goals from CHF.

Obviously you couldn't expect that from Bruton but it may release Darcy into the forward line for a bit more and allow him to do some damage.

You guys are deluding(?spelling) yourselves.
Burton is struggling for Werribee, what makes him a hit in seniors?
Jamar killed him on Satdee in position play, marking and strength. Didn't even finish out the game

Don't think Bruton has done enough nor is he ready for significant senior games. To me, picking him now would be like admiting that the finals are out of our reach. If there is injuries, then fine he should play but at the moment I would prefer to see Wiggins be given a run on the ball than Bruton.
I dont see the value of playing Bruton when all of our talls, Darcy, Bandy and Wiggins need the work. With the versatile Skipper likely to play in the next week or so I cant find a spot for a one position player like Bruton. At best you could run him off the bench but he would be better getting more full games at the Bees.

I would like to see both Wiggins and Bandy spend more time on the ball, that would be free up Darcy to play down forward!! He showed in 97/98 that he is able to kick a goal or two!
