Bryce Gibbs a Squib?

Look back on todays game and just try and tell me that that kid hasn't got balls. He consistantly attacked the ball and jumped into contests fighting for the ball.

Hopefully Gibbos effort will keep mindless opposition supporters mouths shut for a while:thumbsu:.

I didn't see much of him, but i liked the glimpses I got. I liked his goal that helped us on our way early.
A goal that came from him running through a pack and shrugging a tackle, ooh yeah!

there was one bit of play (cant remember it exactely, too many beers), tredrea took a mark and gibbs bumped into him. doesnt sound much but held his footing and didnt take a backwards step.

s.hit explanation but if you saw it you know what im on about.

Don't bother listening to d*ckhead opposition supporters.
Any opposition team would take him in a heartbeat and the kids gonna be a great player for the Blues.

i know the play you are on about. He held his ground well there. Tredrea even wanted a 50 from it.

Lets face it, if opposition supporters had any clues they'd barrack for Carlton.

There was one incident in his debut year when he didnt go in hard enough. Many other players do the same thing across the competition but becuase he is a #1 pick opposition fans want to demean his efforts.

Will be a star, you know it and I know it and opposition fans can go suck their thumbs at night in fear of the Carlton resurgence.

Speaking as an opposition supporter,

Bryce Gibbs is a amazing talent and potentially a very good player ( look forward to seeing more of him)

In regards to the incident, I thought it reflected more on the state of the team under Pagan not about him (basically the team had no confidence).

He is still looks really young.

If i'm not mistaken he's 18. How good's he gonna be in four years' time when he's still only 22 ?

He'll destroy sides when he gets 20+ possesions a match consistently. Best user of the ball in our side and has brilliant hands in close. Other players should be looking to give him the ball as much as possible

Buckley clone
