Beams was 24, an All Australian and best and fairest winner amongst other media awards. Not sure how he's not in the same calibre as Gibbs if not better. Collingwood received a first rounder, second rounder and crisp. I don't have a clue what silvagni is asking for but everyone here is expecting a lot more than what Collingwood got
Collingwood got #5, #25 and a young talent in Crisp.

What you're offering is #13 and someone you're looking to offload anyway.

If you guys offered pick #6 (since we have #5 you can't give us what we've already got) alone I'd take it. So please, stop talking shit.

Obviously Crows fans don't have faith they will finish in the top 3 this year, or they rate us and think our second rounder will be terrible.

13 & somewhere between 16 and 18 for Gibbs and something >24. 6-8 spot downgrade of your pick next year.

For argument's sake #13 and #17 next year for Gibbs and #24 next year (that's us finishing 1 spot higher than this year despite losing one of our best midfielders with no depth to cover). This values Gibbs at #10 max,

You don't know that.

But i've been told to leave, so i will.
Well if you guys are talking winning the flag, then you'd fancy yourselves to at least make a prelim with Bryce in the side.

Meanwhile, we lose one of our best players and will be replacing him with draft picks so unlikely for us to win more games next year.

I don't need to know it, I just apply logic and I come up with a reasonable outcome.

You're making the mistake of saying all first rounders are equal.

Pick five which Collingwood got for beams is not the same as pick 13
well beams was 3 years younger so worth a higher pick. No way would Gibbs at 28 demand a top 5 pick. Maybe GC first rounder may come into play if we can get our hands onto that and offload it to Carlton. Lyons and 13 for pick 8

I can not predict the future. Can you?
Well no but I can take an educated guess.

I would be pretty shocked if The team that finished fifth this year and adds Bryce Gibbs and plays half it's games in Adelaide crashes to the bottom of the ladder.

I suppose it's possible such as with Fremantle. I'd be shocked though

I'll be back after the trade is made to give my 2 cents worth or at the end of the trade period to wish you well.

I have actually predicted you guys to make the 8 next - so enjoy your trade period.

I think the Giants get reamed a little bit there.

heh. The TV recognise the word reamed
No. Worst case scenario Crows win flag. Geelong can only give us #36 for Tuohy

#18 (985 points)
#25 (756 points)
#36 (502 points)

2243 points (1258 this year)

Losing #15 which is 1112 points

Values Pickett and Marchbank at #15.

Of course if the Tuohy pick is in the early 20s, say #22, that's another 343 points this year, 489 more than they had before the trade, and Marchbank and Pickett are valued at #9.

Now I don't normally value second round picks but for academy clubs I do as that is why the valuation system exists.
