Your right hindsight is great and in hindsight he is clearly not worth what we gave for him. Geez I hope he turns it around, Because at his best he is a matchwinner. I think it's a smart move to drop him, And reckon he will have a big 2nd half of the year, If he's got the mental strength.

I believe he will turn it around, and we will see his best this year. when I do not know,
But for all the problems we have we are forgetting the highlight for this year, We have talent applying pressure to these players, there no gold passes, there no we have no other options, And Next week we have, OK to good coverage on just about every line.

Whats all this crap on FB (adelaide pride etc) that Gibbs wants out of the club and is gone at the end of the year.... issues with the upper management, not happy at the club, somethings happened blah blah blah. Can anyone clarify?
It's people making crap up trying to fill in the dots.

Regardless of whether we screwed the pooch or whatever.... I'm pleased that he's been set a task and if he doesn't achieve it, he gets dropped. That's how it should be... and they are clearly taking a stronger stance now (JJ, Gibbs).

Agreed. But I am still intrigued as to what has changed at the club.

At this time with all the Gibb hate going around, how many of you mentioned in the 2016 trade period and after, that we should have gone harder for Gibbs, how many mentioned we should have used 2 x 1st rd picks, or How bad the management was for not pushing harder and how weak we were.
Then 2017 pre-trade and during how many again mention use 2 x first rd picks,

At the time of the trade, a majority of BF supporter were in favour. How times change. Guess hindsight is a powerful tool, and a few will hope he does not help us to a grand Final anytime soon.
Not me. You will find I was against it and also pointed out the two players I would have taken with the picks instead. No hindsight here.

Yep, one of the only good thing about the trade is getting to say I told you so over and over again :p

Yep I was trying to make this point earlier. We all wanted him many thought we paid too much but they were still happy to have him. And lets face it last year would have been an even bigger mess if Gibbs wasn't at the club. Happy to see that he is being challenged to do better or adjust how he plays but I certainly don't have any ill feelings towards him. I have no inside info but I believe there is more to Gibbs being dropped than we know.

I was all for getting Gibbs, but my bug-bear with the trade itself was the future 2nd round pick we threw in. At the time, this clearly swayed the trade into Carlton's favour.

Unfortunately, right now as we speak, the trade for Gibbs was a mistake. Just hoping Bryce can turn things around otherwise it will be a considered an abject failure along the lines of the Wayne Carey trade.

Cameron was born in Queensland, and lived there till he was 17. Money + Going Home = Trade.

Do you have any comprehension how big QLD is?

You might as well say that he was born in Adelaide so is going home to Victoria. That's the geographical difference you're talking about.

He was born in Mt Isa, grew up on as a junior on Mornington Island, But attended a Catholic Private boarding school in Brisbane it's a 5 to 12 school, He has a large Family Group living in and around Brisbane, along with a few close friends
And he classes Brisbane as Home.
Also, don't forget his girlfriend

Mornington island is only 200km further from Adelaide than it is from Brisbane.

Why are you bothering, Charlie Cameron Has Family in Brisbane and some of his closest friends live in Brisbane, he spent the majority of his middle and senior school years in Ashgrove Qld. He classes Brisbane as Home,
