Sadly, no. There was just too much brain trauma. Once we managed track down a family member who was in a fit state of mind for decision-making, they elected euthanasia, which was probably the most humane call.

Bit of a convoluted in-joke between Sopwiths and myself, but in a nutshell it's a reference to Hibberd's resemblance to a WW1 pilot.
