I thought that it was ridiculous during the lie detector segment hosted by BT during half time with him asking such personal questions, I thought that the questions about his income or financial stability where a bit too far. That is quite personal and could possibly result in him being targeted and definitely by those who are just wanting money. And it was evident how un-comfortable Joel Selwood was during the interview, stating "This is a stitch up" and trying his best efforts to stay level headed which he really did well. I think that, BT should be fined or the segment to be closed indefinitely. But what is your verdict on this subject?

I guess not. But multiple extended family members could be a pain. And I guess he'd be as vulnerable to credit card fraud as anyone, but It sure is a small commodity in Australia that commit such crimes. So I guess it is no big deal. But I thought that was not very professional of BT, But no biggie now that I re-evaluate the scenario.

And I've got to say, amazed the main board hasn't gone nuts over him saying he thinks he is the hardest player in the league.
Got to love that.

I reckon if they asked gazza if he thought he was the best he'd say yes.
Not sure that Gaz would say it. But he would certainly think it.

And just like Sel, he would be right.

Thought BT asking Joel firstly if he was a millionaire, then a multi-millionaire was a bit uneccecsary.
Could Joel have said he didn't want to answer the question?

I guess it shows us what's important to BT. Guess he's looking for someone to latch on to for a free dinner. Scumbag. Wouldn't waste my time watching him. It's a bit like putting yourself on a chair in front of Sam Newman, knowing he doesn't like you, and saying "Go ahead! Ask me anything!" He'll cut you to ribbons with his carborundum tongue!

of course he would. And any way , surely it is not a serious interview. But for a very honest guy, money questions should be off limits . But then again, who doesn't think the players are well paid ? Especially at Joel's level .

but as Joel said,he's been stitched up.My guess is it could've been by a teammate that wears #20 who also recently did the same BT crap.
Correct. There's no way that BT would just ask random questions about money, they're loaded questions for a reason and it would be someone at the GFC who did the loading

I am pretty Joel knew the sort of line of questioning there would be he does the same thing to all the players. I reckon most intelligent people would be able to decipher that he is a millionaire.
