Eddie can stay. Turned a club that was broke and in enormous debt into a well structured organisation. Many attribute the "Buckley Thing" he orchestrated initiated the challenge for a premiership in 2010. So long as we are successful off field, Eddie stays.

Highly unlikely, that said he should have completed an apprenticeship under a quality coach that was prepared to invest in him unlike Mick the Prick.

That would be the worst possible move you could do for our club right now. It solves nothing. In fact, sacking Buckley now would only entrench the so called 'downward spiral' you believe we are on. Just out of curiosity, where did you tip us to finish on the ladder at the start of this season?

I haven't been on BF for a while so here we go...my thoughts..... (not that it really counts to anyone)

I don't think Bucks will be sacked, what we dished up today was horrendous but as a total overlook for the season i think we sit
exactly where everyone expected us to be. I think Collingwood supporters were the only ones putting us higher than what we actually should of been considering the exits out of the team over the trade period last year.
Do things need to change? absolutely!
Whats disappointing is we have a team that has so many blokes that are out of form but have so many VFL players that are in form but can't get a gig.
Broomhead gets a call to the seniors and gets dropped straight away? Kmart can't get a game? our forward line clearly isn't working but Karnezis cant get a game! When asked why Kmart can't get a game its the old response of " we have spoken to Kyle and he has some defensive aspects of his game he has to work on" right.......soooo basically we have half a team at the moment that isn't doing defensive work and he can't be elevated to the senior list after kicking a few goals and getting 35 touches every week in the VFL because he needs to work on the defensive aspect of the game.......sorry for the vent but thats what grinds my gears.........
 
If we miss the finals from 8-3 and getting an armchair ride to top 4 with an easy run of games and sides above us falling over, he should get the bullet if he doesn't fall in his own sword.

Prior to the bulldogs game we were a huge chance of top 4 whether we deserved it or not, now we are barely clinging onto our finals spot.

So how does a shit/sack-able coach get us into a position of a top four chance?

With our young list, we were always going to run out of steam. With the injury toll to key personnel in key areas of the ground was this not expected? I think our great early start over inflated peoples expectations on the year.
Fair dinkum people relax

He stuck to basics with selection and set up.

Since he's hime too cute, only one tall back, no support for cloke, swan or pendlebury left deep forward as the midfield gets smashed, absolute insistence to not play two tall forwards and two tall rucks despite all the evidence in the world that 1 tall, 1 ruck and 1 ruck forward doesn't work.

Loose man playing at the stoppage instead of stationed back like we had until the Adelaide game.

We were young in 2010 and 2011 too, Hawthorn has had worse injuries than us and they have powered through with some poor players.

It's not that young! In fact it will get younger in 1-2 years you will be winding out that rubbish until 2016 and accepting it because we are young.

So we dont have a young list?? Regular 22 would be one of the youngest in the comp.
When did Hawks or anyone have their 4 best defenders out at the one time???
