I guess it hinges on how highly you rate Hawthorn as well. Hawks should never have got that far in front, that they capitulated doesnt mean much to me. There was too much emotion in the game for such a momentum swing to say Buckley did an outstanding job. Personally, i reckon that come back says more about Pendlebury's captaining than it does about Buckleys coaching.
Yep the old...

Pies win - players were great
Pies lose - Lol Bucks, sack him, worse coach ever.

And on it goes.

Only one of those plays in the mid-field -and his knees are shot.
Hawks mid-field is where they were beaten.
You're kidding aren't you..?

You think having even just 4 of our starting 18 back in wouldn't have made a difference? how simple are you? Losing Puopolo and of course already having Cyril out meant our forward pressure was lacking in the second half.. hence you were waltzing the ball out of defensive 50.. Frawley, Stratton, Birchall.. half our starting back line missing as well as Brand who was the Frawley replacement.. not to forget O'Brien who has been one of our best this year up forward..

It's a whole ground effect... do you even understand football?

Keep living in delusion, Buckley will be sacked soon enough your side is horrid and merely treading water.

Both sides had players out. dunno if this has been mentioned but we were missing Reid and our 2 best running defenders (Varcoe / Sinclair). we went into the game with 1 forward over 195m and he spent time in the ruck.

I'd say there wasn't much different in the outs in the end.

I feel sorry for the guy but it's got to happen. Before the year is out.

The silver lining is that he might get back into commentary. He was once the best special comments/ expert.

.. Are you joking? genuinely am unsure.. Do you honestly think the outs were comparable. You only went in with one key forward because all your others are shit

Birchall
Stratton
Frawley
Brand
O'Meara
Rioli
Ceglar
O'Brien

or Reid, Varcoe and supposedly Sinclair.. who is an average player if you include him may as well include O'Rourke, Lovell and Miles for us..

Do you honestly believe there wasn't much difference in the outs?

your recruit Vickery came in. as did Sicily and premiership player Dureya.

on the outs...Brand? 23yo 15 games and ave 17p's a game in 2017. yeh don't know how you covered him.

JOM of 2014 would be a good excuse but sadly you've got JOM of 2017 and he's a shadow on the 2014 player.

Ceglar? Interesting. Hasnt played a game in 2017 and at best is an honest toiler. McEvoy was ok against Grundy and had 37 hit outs.

you dropped Obrien so you cant claim him as an out.

Frawley....how has he been going this year?

Stratton, Birchall and Rioli the only losses that made a difference.

the lessoning output of Hodge and Burgoyne and the sacking Mitchell and Lewis has exposed the foot soldiers underneath.

By my count you had more than 13 premiership players out there.

Brand counted as he was the replacement fro Frawley who has played most games this year, who was then pulled out sick.

Ceglar is best 22 and has been out since he did his ACL last year, so no shit he hasn't played this year.. we play him and McEvoy together

We didn't drop O'Brien, he was injured with a hip injury? at least get your facts right before you comment.. he is having a breakout year and was a huge loss

Vickery, Duryea and Sicily have been playing at box hill... hence not best 22.

The fact you try to downplay Frawley the man who kept Kennedy goaless in a granny and is having a decent year and is just about our most important player structure wise show's you don't know much about footy..

O'Meara was having a fine promising start to the year before his injury and again gives Mitchell much needed help.. like when we nearly beat Adelaide this year and he dominated in the middle with 37 touches..

Sorry but you quite obviously don't have a great grasp of how football works and claiming O'Brien was dropped when he is having a breakout year and was out injured is a huge LOL

FFS..Nathan Brown beat Reiwoldt in 2 GF's and I don't rate him.

geez I thought Mayne was a shocking recruit. you guys paid Vickery 600k at box hill?

you are delusional if you think JOM has had a good start at Hawthorn.

I am not wrong. O'Brien was a late out with a hip injury, that report is wrong and you obviously no nothing about Hawthorn if you think O'Brien was dropped... from the Hawthorn website,
http://www.hawthornfc.com.au/news/2017-05-20/late-change-round-9
"Kaiden Brand (illness) and Tim O’Brien (hip) come out of the 'side, and will be replaced by Kurt Heatherley and James Sicily."

I merely used an example of when Frawley stood up when the going was tough and played a blinder, I see you forgot to mention my point on how important he is to structure, besides you thinking O'Brien was dropped shows you know little about Hawthorn

Can you admit you were wrong and know little about Hawthorn?

He makes a really good assistant coach. I actually thought him and Malthouse made a good team until Eddie tore it apart. Could see him fitting well at the saints or Richmond.

Well for one he isn't on 600k, and two as O'Brien has taken his spot this year that's where he has been playing and has only come in due to injury which means not best 22, can I make it any clearer for you?

There was absolutely nothing wrong with saying Jaegers first two rounds were a promising start for his first league games since 2014.. of which they were and saying how that was a help for Tom Mitchell and how now he's doing it all alone.. merely responding to a delusional Collingwood supporter claiming he would be of no impact, however you seem to be one as well..

Hawks had Rioli Stratton Frawley O'Brien Omeara Birchall all out on top of there struggling list.
So if the above is accurate they had 6 best 22 players missing. Pies were missing Reid, Varcoe, Sinclair and Aish was gone for the second half. They were certainly missing a few, but only 2 more best 22 players than us (is OBrien best 22?), and we were a rotation down on the bench. The Hawks were certainly understrength, but this characterization that it was Box Hill vs the Pies best team seems wildly inaccurate. The Hawks just aren't very good anymore. Not that we are either, but thought the above was worth pointing out.

Are you joking? Puopolo was also gone for most of the second half and he was actually impacting the game unlike Aish.. we had no forward pressure after he had to stay off

I seriously can't understand the logic of some Pies supporters, that list of Hawks players greatly dwarfs the Pies outs.. Sinclair for gods
sake.. O'Brien is clearly best 22..

Thought you would point what out exactly? your post makes no sense..
