In a game against Carlton at the MCG in 2015, a Port Adelaide player marked the ball inside 50 and a Carlton player pleaded that he had touched it. The umpire overturned the mark decision and called for a ball up.

Yeah I think it’s a very dangerous precedent to set. Half the time I believe players are right when they point to the scoreboard and complain about the replay. But when umpires start letting players run the show, it’s a real step back for the league. It’s a worrying sign, hopefully it’s a one off and not a trend.

Irony was when Bucks left the Bears because he wanted to play in a team that could make finals. And then Brisbane started making finals while Collingwood did eff all for years. And then he plays consecutive grannies against them and loses both.
