Similarly, I doubt they'd report it if it wasn't (mostly) true. They might have the odd detail wrong but he's definitely gone.

I can't understand the timing of this. Has Bucks decided that he no longer thinks he has the support of the board? Is he over the uncertainty. I didn't think things could get worse. They just have.

I believe a club would do well to pick up Buckley next year. Has learnt a lot

I agree. I am still a Bucks fan. I hear the people who wanted him sacked, but I def. thought he should have at least coached out the rest of this season.

Devastated. He came so agonisingly close to the big prize.

I was neither here nor there with Buckley. In fact if we renewed his contract with new assistants I would've been able to live with that.

As much as I should be excited about the prospect of a replacement, I'm worried about the short-to-medium term future...

Unless we've got someone lined up (hello Clarko) we're bound to be stuck with a horrid caretaker coach and then having to settle for the best coach of what's left, when ideally we'd be netting the best in the country.

Well, there can be no doubt that he has read the writing on the wall. He may have run out of juice, but I doubt that aspect. He didn't appear to be a quitter. I suspect somebody, maybe Wright, has told him the board was looking elsewhere. I feel very sad at this news.

Goodluck to bucks, but our clubs needs club wide change to become a contender once more. Clean out of everyone. He had 10 years. Time for a refresh at the club. He’s obviously been told by Wright he won’t be extended
