Nope, Rioli in 82 & Ablett in 89 did as well.

Truly one of the great midfielders i have ever seen, along with Voss and Banger. What an absolute superstar and a fantastic leader of men (Voss also)

Like windyhill, I favoured Anthony Rocca for the Norm Smith, played the game of his life today.

Though thoroughly deserved Nathan Buckley, showed what a class player he was today, never gave up trying. I thought Paul Licuria was the next best on the field. Pretty weird having IMO the three best players on the losing side.

I thought there were better players for Brisbane than Rocca and Lica were for us. I thought Bucks deserved the Norm Smith but being in a losing side would probably miss out. Thought Voss was a chance because of it.

Yeah, Voss was up there for me (he'd be 4th ) but with him being off the ball for a lot of the early stages due to his injury, that pursauded me to have the 3 Collingwood boys in front.

But, Voss was terrific in the second half of the match, particularly the last quarter and must have been close to winning the Norm Smith.

For Voss to be off the ball, and still get 26 possessions wasn't a bad effort at all.

Buckley was a deserving winner though.

Territorians have an incredible strike rate for the Norm Smith.
Rioli, Long, McLeod and now Buckley. Two of those in losing teams.
Very few games where Territorians have not won it.

I thought after Voss and Buckley, Clark Keating could've gone close I reckon he did a brillant job in the ruck especially once McDonald went down.
