My seven year old son was watching the program with me and now because Nathan Buckley says F..K my son thinks it is ok, well thank you Nathan.

Last night I hade to tell him Nathan Buckley was not a man, just a very small minded person, who needed to swear to get his point of view across.

I have been a Collingwood Member for the lst 12 years and I am very disapointed in Nathan's behaviour, this will probably be my last year as a Collingwood member.

Buckley is a role model and since he is such a good player all the kids look up to him as a hero . . . if he knew the camera was on him or not - thats not the point, we cant have leaders going around cussing and the kids will think "My hero is swearing so can I!" Serves himself right, if he doesn't want to help his club out, his main employer, with some prime time encouragement for fans to become members well maybe it was justice.

You Maggie/Hawks supporters should be furious with them both for blowing a good membership drive opportunity. The Hawk president should have kicked Crawford up the arse for putting the Footy show first, so too the Collingwood President Eddie (no conflict) McGuire.

As for Craig "Calender Man" Kelly saying Shaw, Brereton and Dunstall "obviously those guys have never been involved in teamwork", what the hell is he on?

I just thought the whole incident was hilarious. His apology was almost as good. I have never seen anyone apologise about something but at the same time making excuse after excuse and trying to appear blameless.

I also have to agree with Rice. So what if Buckley and Crawford are contracted to Channel 9. Surely you would think that they would be able to speak to Channel 7 in their capacities as club captains. And if Chan 9 did not allow them to speak, they are a lot more petty then I thought.

And on the topic of Buckley, I could not believe him carrying on about his "unintentional" spoil on Duncan Kellaway, saying how he would have been found guilty if it had gone to the tribunal because all they would have used was the video evidence. I'm sorry Bucks, but just because you were genuinely remorseful for striking Kellaway does not hide the fact that you struck him.

Have you ever heard of a thing called a contract? Or "legally binding". Crawford and (I assume) Buckley do a lot of work for their clubs. Their presidents do not expect them to break contracts.

BTW Gary Lyon dropped the C word on radio after the Hawthorn Essendon match. I remember everyone laughing about not this handwringing crap.

(aka Collingwood) show telling two of the people contracted to that show they are not allowed to speak to a rival show that is
trying to promote CLUB membership. This means Mr. Maguire that you are possibly forfeiting the sales of Collingwood
membership by not allowing a representative (the Captain of said club) to appear to help push this sale. This would be
acceptable if your other interest didnt lie with you being The President of Collingwood football club.

Obvious that your loyalty in this instance went to Ch9 and Collingwood were either disregarded or made a secondary interest.
