It was weird in the first half of the year, but he played forward in the last game. So the logical thing to assume is that he has been playing back for development reasons and that his long term position has not been nailed down yet. I honestly think part of the reasoning is getting a game or two alongside Reid, who is genuinely elite at both ends (just has a body made of glass).

Though I was told the Main Reason he played forward because Gault did not come up

We have next to no Depth as Tall Forward on the Team. We only have Gault as a Tall Forward in the VFL on the AFL List

Moore is being played in defense for his development, learn how to read the play and play on more senior forwards to learn leading patterns etc. in time he will play CHF

I think he plays tall. Has an air about him. You can't help but look up to him even if you're taller. It might be because you feel an undeniable urge to kneel before him. But he also plays small because he's so quick and agile like a panther. Only stronger, faster and more devastatingly handsome.

So does me wonder that Bucks and Co Believe you have to have a Strong Backline and then you can get away with not having a Strong Forward Line.

Are you also concerned that we may ruin Scharenberg by playing him as an undersized Full Back? Are we wasting Reid on a back flank?

You can't possibly make a judgement call on how Bucks rates forwards based on this.

No surprise that's why he instructs the players to play the boundary line go sideways backwards and slow into the forward line .. Cost us he game tonight attack and go direct and try win the game and give the forwards a chance

TD this thread doesn't make sense.

Moore is a first year KP player... He was never going to play much of a role (if any) in the AFL this year - this year is purely about his development.

His time in defence this year doesnt mean thats where he will end up, it just means its what the club thinks is the best way for him to develop into an AFL footballer.
