Came away from tonights game in absolute awe of the great man. Took it to another level with 30 possies and 6 goals...what a star of the competition, now and always.

Well done as well to Dids who was so constructive tonight. I though Guy also tried his guts out and it was nice to see a couple of flashes from Pendles too.
Impressive win I thought considering. :D

Go Pies!!

He is an absolute legend of the club, and it was an absolute privilage to be at the game to witness that performance. Interesting that tonight was his PB as far as goals kicked.

It was a captain's performance. When the side is in trouble you look for the captain to lead from the front, Bucks did just that!

He is a champion footballer. The most consistent Collingwood player in the last 25 years!

Traded Lenny Hayes for Bucks :D Played a very very good game, question now is.. will he play in the forward line next week?

Legend. Career best effort, and as Luke Darcy said in the last quarter, "this is probably his best game he has played in his career, and is the best I've seen him play"

Can't disagree.

Yep, he played well but I saw him play a better game at Vic Park against Freo
He had 48 touches that day

I coulda got a shot off over that game.

I think Guy might have proved me wrong since I've always said we need C.Cloke or maybe Fanning against big ruckmen like Brisbane instead of the two skinny ruckmen. But Richards was great in tap outs and ok around the ground. Still needs to work on his positioning around the ground. He doesn't let his oponent run rings around him but offensively he stands in the most useless positions and doesn't know how to receive a handball.

The game where Sav kicked 9, Bucks had 43 touches?

I remember that one aswell, or one of the games against the Dockers at VP that were in his top 5. Last years game against Essendon statistically was a great game but the majority was spent on Jay Nash, one of many duds at Essendon, playing on debut.

What would Bucks top 5 games be?

Guy made some clear errors, but he was very good.

He's a bit of an enigma (to me anyway). I wrote him offf (again) after his game against the Casey Scorpions, then he goes and gets BOG in the VFL and plays a game like that.

He's the Fremantle of our list!

I thought he had improved quite abit, as you say his posistioning isnt great, but he seemed to get involve in the play accross the ground alot more then in previous games, still plently of room for improvement but I think he did pretty well and showed his improvement. I think he should be given the ruck responsibility more, he was pretty good in the tap outs. The more time the better I think. Will be hard against white and Jamar next week I would think though.

Great game from the skipper, rapped that he pulled the pants down of that dog Scott.

Wouldn't say its was his best game, what about the game against Adelaide at AAMI stadium where he single handedly got the maggies home in that final quarter. Would've had 15 - 18 touches in that quarter and squeezed the kick out to Taz who snagged the goal after the siren to give the Pies the victory.

Bucks was great but i thought burns was outstanding, especially in teh last quarter when the game was in the balance, extracted a couple of crucial balls, an unbelievable player love him to parts...pieces! Is showing know sighns of ageing at the minute!

Not Barrie Robran, but imagine the king of Kings at 33 minus the Lethal Lee induced knee(or Daddy man Ebert in the early 80's), you wont get closer to football perfection than that, Is amazing, it may pain me to say this but one N Buckley is the fav to be holding up a silver cup at the end of Sep, and i will applaud, a lot....

Unbelievable game from the legend. Amazing how good he can be at that age and if he wanted to play up forward each week, why would you stop him?

If Voss could do what Buckley did on Saturday night we'd win a few more games but well done to Collingwood, definitely the better team won on the night and you'll be looking forward to plenty of September action this year. :thumbsu:
