Yeah sure...I dont have a problem with it. Im just a Uni student with no job and nothing to do on the weekends except wach footy. I will be going to all Bullants home games and games at Box Hill that either dont interfere with Carlton Home Games or the games that I'm going interstate to watch (I'm a big boy now!!!).
Will be watching out for the 5 rookies...

Probably need to work out the format.
Maybe Sublime can explain the formula / format of how to best keep it interesting and current (i.e. posssibly each round inc. NAB has its own thread on the main board ?)

I was going to start something similar, with a new thread on a player every day, where everyone diuscusses that player, but the buddy spends most time there.
I was going to start that later this afternoon-does anybody disagree?
Personally i would wait for ODN's input........need to find a way to make it nice and clean and so we don't have to scroll down 38 stickies to get to other threads in the Blue Room.
If it were up to me, from a usability perspective i would start a new sub-forum on the carlton board entitled, Buddy Reports. in the forum i would have 38 threads (or how many players were actually selected), in alphabetical order by surname, then like you say, they are free to be commented on by anybody but the players buddy would be the "owner" of the thread.

I'd be happy with that, and I'll put my hand up to start the thread if the idea is approved.
The only thing is, the Admin might not approve because we already have 2 sub-boards, and they take a while to organise I think.
If there are players that were not selected in the buddy draft, that wouldn't matter, as we would all be able to discuss each player anyway.

Either in alphabetical order or in number order would be good, but at the end of the day it wouldn't really matter, as they are going to change order all the time...

If they are the only threads in that sub-forum, there's no real point to stickying them.
I trust that you have sufficient intellectual capabilities to find each player when you need to

I personally like it how brisbanes is set up, but wouldn't know how to implement anything like that. Either way i'm not too picky about the setup of it, as long as its easy enough to navigate.
Isn't it just a matter of one of the mods setting up another sub-forum for us?
Sub forum called "..."
Then from there, we can open threads, and keep the threads open, on each player.
It looks pretty easy.
