Apparently Buddy has, according to rumours anyway, been on a final strike for about 10 years now.

I'm aware of that one but the "rumours" Abasi was alluding to seem to has something to do with his finances.

His entire career has been plagued by the rats and the filth of the internet besmirching his bad name on trumped up drug use accusations.

Apparently they changed the rules to give players a clean slate and wipe all strikes after 4 yrs .... well not apparently , that is fact .
The timing of that change however was rather interesting .

Really?

Wouldn't surprise me as the AFL isn't serious about drugs in sport.

Does the word "defamation" mean anything to you? I'd delete this post ASAP if I were you unless;

1. You can prove what you have written
2. You can subpoena said premiership player who can prove what you have written, if indeed he is willing to even admit what you claim he has said to you
3. You are confident that you can subpoena documents supporting your assertions

The veil of Big Footy does not indemnify you from defamation law in Australia.
You can banter but not slander...

Absolutely , it was changed awhile after the medical records of hawthorn players were found . Not saying that was the link but what may have happened after may well have been . Just joining the dots .
It is not something the obviously talk about on air but it has been discussed and confirmed a few times on the telly .
So with the self reporting and the clean slate you could essentially have 9 strikes and 3-4 self reports over a 12-15 yr career .
Then you also have the forced rest issue ( injury ) to protect players . It is pretty laughable but that is the AFL .

Dont they also clean the slate when a player moves interstate?

How come Dank420 is quiet on Buddy related matters? Dank420 usually has good word coming out of the Swans.....

First of all, it was after the records were “found” that the media began attacking the afl for no drug policy. Joining the dots would be saying that those records were what encouraged the AFL to make the changes.

The self reporting was only a one-off get out of jail free. After that it is recorded

A record exists for 4 years, but the record isn’t wiped clean. If a player got 1 strike in yr 1, none in yr 2, and 1 in yr 3, yr four they’d still have one left
