Buddy Franklin - A grade nice guy!

1300 people at the B&F Saturdya night and all of them went crazt for Buddy. He can't move without totlal hysteria. He posed for countless photos and signed all autographs. At the start of the dinner the MC asked that people no longer ask for photos or autographs as there had been plenty of time before hand. Everytime Buddy moved or went to the toilet he was mobbed like a roock star and easily could have said no but he sill posed with the fans and signed autographs with a big smile and friendly nature.

So he took the time to talk to and have photos with the hawthorn faithfull at the Hawthorn B& F.

If this makes him a grade A bloke your standards ain't to high. Hasn't every player at every B & F done this ?

Really Stylus. Please elaborate as obviously you know the bloke personally. You couldn't possibly just be assuming you know what he is like by what people say on here. You are not shallow are you?
I mean I could make the assumption that your football team are a bunch of soft ***** but again........that would be assuming..

Yes really. Did I say I know the bloke personally? No, I did not. I have friends who do know him personally, so no I am not "shallow" as you say. However even if I did base it on what I read here, that is not being shallow.

You can assume what you like about my football team, I won't be losing any sleep over it. I would kill to have buddy in my side, I mentioned he is a great player in my previous post, but that does not make him a nice guy. You have some flawed logic.

I would expect Hawthorn supporters to defend him regardless, so your deluded views on the man mean little to me or anyone else who can clearly see that Buddy Franklin is not a "A grade nice guy" as the OP proclaims.

Met him at the Crown one night when he was with a lady, not sure if it was his missus but he was a great guy. His missus walked off for a bit so I went and had a chat with him, was real down to Earth and seemed to be enjoying life. Great guy. As soon as his lady left I excused myself of course.

Funny you should mention that, i saw John Anthony at Parklife last sunday and approached him with a 'When are you coming to hawthorn mate?' just to start up a nice convo, he told me that he'd never go there as long as Buddy was there and he had a few other things to say about him which i can't post on here, he then went onto imitate him in clubs puffing out his chest, he seemed like a nice bloke other than all the Buddy trash talking.

The Pies hate Buddy in general though coz of how many ass kickings he gave them this year!

And Buddy is an ass. I chased him down Chapel St with 10 of my mates, then we finally cornered him in a pub and demanded some time with him talking about stuff, and that he sign some things that we thrust in front of him. He said he, and I quote "couldn't right now". Arrogant arseh*le!

In saying that, from mates of mine that are out with him a bit, he's settled down in the last year. I do hope so because he was a jerk the last time we met.
