Spewing that I didn't know earlier that he was at Cabrini Hospital. I just live around the corner.... Would have loved to accidently run over his foot or clumsily run into his knee ;)

Just Kidding.... It's great that he is playing.

Go Pies!

It'd probably end up like that episode of The Simpsons where Mr Burns is coming in to say he can't bowl and then Moe kneecaps him and he's feeling better afterwards!

I can just see you in court: "Take me! I'm old!!!!... and that's what really happened.... what? Well you believed his **** and bull story!" :D:thumbsu:

I saw the footage a few minutes ago. Nothing untoward about the way he moved and kicked.
lol. Would have seen more with both eyes open. Buddy will probably play but there's no doubt he'll need injections to do it. The way he was favouring that injured knee there's no doubt it's troubling him. That said, it didn't affect his game too much last week but then I don't reckon Sydney played him in a way to test it out. Personally I'll be rapt if he plays because you can bet Mick's got plans for him if he does and the dawks fans will have no excuses.

Back on topic glad buddy is back out, no excuses now when we win and we will win!

Amazed you can be so confident in a final in a sport where literally anything can happen.

Not bagging you, just saying.

I mean, I'm as confident as you can be playing an almost full strength Hawthorn in a final, but I'm a fair street away from you.

We were the best side this year, we were streets ahead of 15 other teams, Geelong just behind us.

This is a tired and sore hawthorn, with their talisman struggling with a lower limb injury and lower guts issue. Where as we have our strongest side all year fit and ready.

So yes we will win.

Funny, I'm starting to get more with Opti here. The more I see of Buddy trying to look unhampered the more confident I get. Yes it could go either way but I don't see the point in dwelling on the negatives when you can count so many positives.... Harry in almost best ever form, Heater looking (and playing) like a greyhound, Daisy and Reid back and well rested, Maxwell finally hitting form, Leon playing some of the best footy he's ever played, the best midfield we've had all year, meeting a team that got seriously beaten up last week with their superstar key forward severely hampered and a suspect undersized backline that generally crumbles under pressure.

I'm sure I could find negatives if I want to but I doubt they'd outweigh that list!

One good sign, the last time the media spent so much time on a key forward before a final against us, we won the flag.

Remember how Reiwoldt would be the key? For 2 weeks Reiwoldt, Reiwoldt, Reiwoldt.

But this is Buddy, he seems to be impervious to media pressure. Though he often lives up to the media hype!:D:thumbsu:

Thank you Opti..it is exactly how you say it is!

In recent times, it has been Geelong, in the 2000s Essendon (only one flag from it lmao) in the 80s Hawthorn...but the moment we display confidence and belief in our superside...we are arrogant pricks...media and non believers look for weaknesses like we have been down on form. Well maybe the fitness staff were overloading our training leading up to the finals and expected a slight drop off...MM was certainly very unlike Mick in high spirits after round 24 - no concerns other than buying into some headgames.

This is our time - we have just had one of the best home and away seasons in history - we did what we had to do in our first final-WIN. I am sick of the buddylove and catslove ("oh they managed their team so well this year" - they had to they are a bunch of old farts and young whipper snippers)...if you listened to CFC all year - we planned for the buys - we sent players to Arizona (to peak now btw), we dutifully and cautiously managed Didak, Dawes and Jollys injuries in the later part of the year ( all have showed signs of better form recently ) - we have deliberately got gametime into players like Fasolo, Wood and Buckley ready for the next two weeks. We have a premiership player in Goldsack rarin' to go if required.

Everyone wants a contest - promote the game - ffs even some of us are nervously doubting our ability.

Give me a friggin break - WE ARE THE BEST SIDE IN THE COMPETITION - we are better than 2010 - read the papers Monday - they will have to admit it unless of course the Cats massacre a weary WC and then you will have to wait a weak for the revelation.

Go Pies
