You don't think choking someone on the ground or turning around and elbowing someone in the face at a dead ball are worse than a high bump? Okay. That's utter crap. Not arguing the penalties that hawthorn got but Buddies hit had the potential to break a jaw or cause concussion yet that was totally ignored. Buddy deliberately took a step forward to lunge at him rather than try to avoid the collision. Watch it again. Don't give me that crap that they were far worse than Buddies.

Think he's still bitter about hodge vs murphy. Which I can understand.Free ride? Recently Lake, Lewis and Hodge got their fair whack and deservedly so. But the Buddy decision now in the red and white just stinks.
how about 'how weak(week)?'Mods please change thread title to "how many WEEK' (singular)
I never said that. Bloody hell. I'm saying that Buddy's bump was intentional with potential to cause injury which was completely ignored. Should be at least 2 (and not 2 to 1). Much like Lewis. You don't think choking someone on the ground or turning around and elbowing someone in the face at a dead ball are worse than a high bump? Okay.

Am I the only one sick of sports fans around the world always calling their favourite sport corrupt/conspiracy/rigged etc, when a leagues decision goes against popular opinion?
You can just stop watching if you think nothing matters and the players are just following Gillon's 2000 page script of the season.

Better still. Yet the AFL have already stated that they agree with findings of MRP. Hardly surprising as their love child is being well looked after.NO....It should be 4 down to 3 for a blatant shoulder charge, at full impact, directly to the head.
You believe that Buddy intentionally went for Edwards' head? Because that's how you'd get the intentional grading and the higher weeks.I never said that. Bloody hell. Because there's nothing at all inconsistent between how Sydney players get treated, and the rest of them.
You enjoy advantages because of where your team is based. Enjoy it, but don't put up these facile arguments to the contrary.
So do the Hawks. You enjoy advantages because of where your team is based.
Take a good look. He goes past the ball looks ahead and sees Edwards coming and has taken a deliberate step forward, lowered himself and made impact. He could have perhaps stepped to the side or better still chased the ball. But chose to go the man.You believe that Buddy intentionally went for Edwards' head? Sorry, I missed your answer, do you think he intentionally hit his opponent in the head?Take a good look. Yep.Sorry, I missed your answer, do you think he intentionally hit his opponent in the head?
No. He didn't necessarily set out to deliberately hit the head, but he did, like many other bumps where it is a fine line between hitting or missing. It's the end result and the fact that he chose to go the man rather than the ball.Sorry, I missed your answer, do you think he intentionally hit his opponent in the head?
Really? I disagree, I don't think he was aiming for the head at all. I think it would be very rare for a player to actually do so. At what point in the milliseconds between the fumbled mark and contact do you think he made that choice?Yep.
The AFL is not corrupt said no one ever
Okay, so he didn't aim for the head, therefore intentional was out. With carryover points wiped and the new system, two weeks was what it was going to get.No. He didn't necessarily set out to deliberately hit the head, but he did, like many other bumps where it is a fine line between hitting or missing. oh come on, what are you, the Buddy-whisperer? How can you pretend to know exactly which body part he was(n't) aiming for?Really? I disagree, I don't think he was aiming for the head at all. The guy chose to shirt-front another guy. And he got him flush in the face. That's it. 4 down to 3.
