Buddy's belly

Some people were saying the same about Luke Hodge that he was carrying a bit. But after watching him grab his ribs after colliding with Chapman the week before I wouldn't be suprised uf he is wearing some kind of padding around the ribs, maybe Buddy is too?

Franklin still looks very much underdone and a little rusty after not playing for a while. Give him till Round 6 or 7, he'll be back. Having said that he's still been alright, 3.5 goals a game.

he has had a pretty interrupted preseason this year, and if he is carrying extra weight this would be why. he is still a massive problem for backlines to deal with.

I would suggest anyone questioning Buddy's fitness go down and watch him train he is a freak.

Plus the gut thing is just a build up of lactic acid because the body is under so much stress.

lol

Plenty of idiots in this thread. Nothing wrong with Franklin's fitness, that's for sure.

Buddy isn't fat by any stretch, he just has a belly likely from eating a lot of food. Body builders get the same thing, a barrel gut, from eating a lot even though they have skin folds below 5%. He is 6'6 and has a very athletic body, he would have to eat a lot of food to maintain his weight, let alone to try and recoup what he loses from training. Another factor is his posture also affects what people think is a gut.

Buddy is under 12% in my opinion, which is on the upper cusp for a KPP, lower would help a little but meh. He is fine as is.

LOL lactic acid, good one.

Bolded section = fail. Bodybuilders have barrel guts from steriod abuse. Human Growth Hormone gut. No natural bodybuilder at 12% or under has a barrel gut.

Remember when everyone said Grant Hackett was a fat after that massive swim?

No natural body builder requires 12000-16000 calories a day. The gut isn't from steroid abuse at all but from the food required to meet their demands, which only happen thanks to steroids so indirectly maybe.

Franklin likely eats 8000-10000 calories a day when training given his build, which means the gut is always full of food. And in regards to hackett.

Hurst revealed that he and Hackett had consumed more than three kilograms of food and water before their 10-kilometre Olympic qualifying race in Seville on Sunday.

Hope that helps you on your path to enlightenment.
