Hi Guys,
Wondering whether someone can help out and steer me in the right direction. I have some membership cards from the early 50's through to 1961. have the 1954 premiership year and I was wondering if anyone would know approx what they would be worth or someone I could go see to get an idea?
Also have a limited edition 1986 Florentine mint plate with ej and Charlie Sutton on it. Likewise I would like to get an idea what they are worth.
If anyone can help I would love to hear from you.

There are similar items for sale regularly on eBay, worth checking them out, you will get an indication of what price they go - some are auctioned, some are set price. But if you want to actually speak to someone, your best bet is Rick Milne - used to write about memorabilia for the Footy Record, and a national authority on Aussie Rules memorabilia in general. He is (or at least used to be) based in Brunswick (Vic), and for a fee will travel to value items/collections.

There also used to be a poster on here - jboyar - who I believe has/had an extensive collection of Bulldogs memorabilia, so try and PM him, he might be able to help as well.

(Edit: I collect footy memorabilia as well, but don't specialise in membership cards. I would only be guessing, but the 54 would be worth several hundred, and 61 not quite as much. There are some people who collect membership cards and try to get every year for a particular club. As with most things, an item is also only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, so use any valuation as a guide, especially if you intend to keep, rather than sell them.)

Ran it past my brother, who is a big collector of old Bulldog memorabilia, he replied with "The 1954 depending on condition could sell between $250 - $500, if in mint condition then closer to $500. The 1961 more like $150 - $250, otherwise the other 50's more like $40 - $70. Couldn't comment on the mint plate without seeing it."
