Bulldogs and Indigenous Players - Last 10 Years of Drafting

That's the point of the discussion - do we trust the club is picking best available when we have no indigenous players on the list? If it was definitely always best available, I would argue we shouldn't be a middle of the table team the last 4 years

Not what I'm saying at all. We won a flag 4 years ago. Why would we then sit middle of the table since? Not saying it's definitely because we haven't recruited optimally, but it does raise the question

That’s fine for discussion (although it’s had plenty of airing in other threads) but it seems to have veered away somewhat from the topic of whether we have a problem drafting indigenous players.

Is there a possibility that there is an informal understanding among recruiters not to draft indigenous boys to clubs they don’t want to go to?
