Competitions Bulldogs board phantom draft

Remove this Banner Ad

Stealing this idea from the Dees board, since it looks like a bit of fun, and god knows we need some with our brains exploding due to so many trade deals getting thrown around.

If we get enough people (18, obviously), we'll do a phantom draft. I'll randomly assign everyone a team, and then we can get under way.

4 rounds will be enough, since most people wont have a lot of knowledge about guys taken in the later rounds.

F/S bidding will be done before the draft.

I urge you to take a look at phantom drafts on the D&T board if you want to get a better idea of some players.

Ok, express interest!

I haven't time to swot up on all the picks so I'm happy to watch but will do so with great interest.
Will the bidding be done in this thread at a nominated time?
Picks will just start off with GWS, and then go on whenever posters are online. Tags will help with this, since we can alert people when it's their turn.
We'll start once F/S bidding is done, but that shouldn't take long.

edit: and yeah, in this thread :)

An idea that may work - 17 people get allocated a team and we as a board debate who the Bulldogs should pick at ray live pick?
As proven by the trades/delistings board, we'd go on for hundreds of pages without making a decision.

Not a bad idea but someone still needs to have the call. Maybe give the board 1-2 hours debate then the nominated person makes the call?

I think that may just cause issues to be honest; some people won't like to feel as though their ideas are being ignored. :p
I think just stick to the one-person-per-team thing and allow discussion in between the picks as to why they were chosen etc. But I'm flexible, I don't really care haha.
