I don't mind going there, especially when the weather is shite. I prefer the G though, it's all a bit enclosed at Etihad and costs more.

Are the Dogs still giving away free memberships to any student at Victoria University who wants one?
It’s one thing to give away tickets - every club does at various times for various reasons - but memberships?

Vic Uni students are eligible for some free tickets over various games, not a free membership though.
As far as I'm aware the only club giving away free memberships is actually the Giants.

Actually incorrect.
Dogs had free senior memberships as part of being in the Vic uni.
We give away junior memberships yep but havent seen give aways for seniors.

In 2016 we did. It's now a free ticket offer, not membership: http://www.westernbulldogs.com.au/membership/vuoffer
They get given a list of games (against interstate teams mainly) to choose a free ticket. We do the same thing for members where once a year they get to bring a friend for free.
This is correct though memberships were given to VU students in the past.

Its amusing (although not when I have to go there) that they had the benefit of a well designed stadium within a km of site and decided that nah we can design it better. And guess what?
