Golden State when they had Run-TMC and then Sprewell and Webber.

Also enjoyed watching the Magic when they had Penny, Anderson and Shaq - especially the playoff series against Chicago when Penny made Jordan and Pippen look like pieces of crap.

And now, HIBACHI!
nice pair

Didn't know you played for Houston.

You reckon you followed them through the championship years then lost interest after Drexler came? Well they only won 2 titles and one of those was after Drexler came.
Dont know much about the game then do you?.. i wore #10. Backed up Otis Thorpe.....

fair call on drexler. My memory has faded. I lost interest when Barkley came along.... and the prison bars,,,,

the 2 championships were great. Still up there with my most treasured sporting moments, as I've said already

Never could have been anyone else but the Celts , but I was a Cornbread Maxwell and Kevin McHale fan more than Larry .

Team in trouble need a turning point Kevin McHale clothesline on Kurt Rambis does the trick .

If only Lenny Bias did not lose the plot (and his life) it might not be 20 years since our last title.

Went for the Sonics in the mid-90's, couldn't get past the brilliance of Shawn Kemp. Possibly one of the best and most powerful in-game dunkers ever. Incredible to watch.

I've followed the Celts since I started following the NBA in 92, and loved Larry Bird and the dream team at the Olympics in 92, anyone accusing me of being a bandwagoner can go get stuffed ...

Love ya C's, back in the big dance at last !!! :D :D

Yeah, i've followed the Celts since day 1. The Knick avatar is a disguise, has been for years. My mom says the first words i uttered were "Bill Russell!"
Right after that i mentioned 'Ted Williams' as i was born a one eyed Red Sox fan.

How have Carlton been going since you jumped off Geelong a few years ago?

Bandwagoner.

Only one team was good enough to have a Chili Peppers song written for them...

l. a. lakers fast break makers
kings of the court shake and bake all takers
back to back is a bad ass fact a claim that remains in tact
m-a-g-i-c see you on the court
buck has come to play his way and his way is to thwart
m-a-g-i-c magic of the buck
other teams pray for dreams
but he don't give a [____]
penetrating the lane like a bullet train
comes the magic blood a telepathic brain
knucklehead suckers better duck
when the buck comes through like a truck
scott stops pops and drops it in
on his way back gets a little skin
from the hand of a man named a. c. green
slam so hard break your t.v. screen
worthy's hot with his tomahawk
take it to the hole make your mamma talk
i hate to burst your bubble but triple double trouble
is coming to your town and he's going to make rubble
l. a. lakers fast break makers
kings of the court shake and bake all takers
back to back is a bad ass fact a claim that remains in tact
lakers are the team that i watch on the telly
cause they got more moves
that a bowl full of jelly
the buck stops here - pops - then cheers
a roar through the forum
that deafens my ears
the one and only know if his kind
sits in a throne
not for the records that he holds
but for being bald and bold
kareem abdul jabbar
all time great super super star
i hate to burst your bubble but triple double trouble
is coming to your town and he's going to make rubble
does anybody want some magic johnson

Although i loved Jordan, I really was always an Olajuwon fan(and Rockets). I don't know why, i just loved those blocks (cos thats all i could do). I think I also liked Charlotte though, they were pretty popular back then

Bulls from the late 80s and then I got interested in the Pacers, who were my favourites from 92 onwards.

LOL ... registered 2004 here - User Name Celtic_Pride -

Now think back, we were garbage around that time, or the year after, I'd hardly say I've jumped aboard the Celts bandwagon now ...

Regardless - LOL @ Da Knicks ...

Yup, real bitter Geelong fan!

How does it feel jumping off them for Carlton? You left a team that couldn't win a flag to the team with the most flags....and guess what...you still haven't seen one :D :D :D :D
Who's the bitter one bandwagon boy?
