How?

He has been very consistent this season and is tipped by some to win the Copeland (not me - I still think Nath is a shoo-in!).

He should have been ahead of both the Smith's (Joel and Rohan), I think.

Because the AA side is and will always be a popularity contest. Reputation and popularity ALWAYS supercedes the real reason for selection - Best team of the YEAR. Not years. E.g. Leppitsch(popular) over any of the Wakelins/Lucas(dour).

Until we get some reputable selectors ie. The 16 coaches. Who actually would have a proper appreciation of the opposition’s players; it will always be a joke.

Why do we give the selected side so much credibility?

Would you rather be in an AA side voted in by Gerard Healy, Wayne Jackson and/or Andrew Demetriou or in an AA side voted by Matthews, Malthouse and/or Sheedy?

Why are those guys in charge of selecting the team in the first place?

For such a special job, it's not such a bunch of 'special' selectors we have especially considering any pub footy fan could choose an AA side.

I'm up for reform.

(To say that Sir Scott was robbed would be an understatement).

I don't know why people take the selectors of the AA side seriously.
They never pick the best side, they attempt to pick positions.
For instance they will not pick 3 full forwards even though they may be the best 3 players in the league.
They assume a FF can only play at FF.
The same can be said of Sir Scott he was not picked because other players who play in his role/position were, even though he is clearly the one of the best at what he does.

I want as few Collingwood players in the AA side as possible. Let them underrate us - we know how good Sir Scott is, and thats all that matters.
