Amazing end to an amazing series...once again the closing pitcher fails to deliver as the Diamondbacks come away with the win 4-3....not one game was won by the away team the entire series!!!

Credit to both teams for a fantastic contest.

Thank God the Yankees didn't win yet another game by one run. That would've been 4 wins by a run, if it had stayed 2-1. The better team won. The Diamondbacks completely dominated the series, and in reality, it should have been over 4-1 in New York.

Great to see another team get the glory for once Good on 'em!

Bad luck New York, but you've had your glory.

A repeat of 1991, in that respect.

Agreed...all due credit to the Yankees. They made the series interesting, getting it to a deciding game. What a great club! Not this year, though.

Justice.

First, and so i don't get acused of being a sore loser, well done D-Backs

I would like to say however, that just because the the D-Backs beat the Yankess this year, something that no other team has been able to do in the past 3 years, that doesn't mean that it is the end of the Yankees dynasty.

The Yankee's will be back next year, in the WC again, and if they are more than just a one hit wonder, then they will be playing the D-Backs.

The Yankees are still the greatest ever. No doubt about it.

Exactly PC28, congratulations Arizona but the Yankees will be back, no question.

As for the Diamondbacks......Florida Marlins ring a bell?? ;)
