i disagree, I believe most fans know we will struggle this season, I think the surge in current memberships has more to do with the new coach and positive recruiting the club did recently.

With us playing Collingwood, and them being well known for not giving a ******** in the Wizard Cup, i don't think it will be a problem.

I'm not convinced we will struggle. While a premiership is a long way from being a reality, I would not be surprised if we won 9 - 10 games and finished mid-table.

And if business is booming so much, why don't they update the membership count - it hasn't changed since the 18/1.

It is far better to aim high and fall short than aim low and achieve it! If we aimed at top 4 and managed to finish 6th; this would be better than aiming to finish 8th and actually finishing their!

I would think that TW has his 2005 senior list sorted and will be aiming at nothing less than a premiership with them.

Realistically, we all know that this is a very long shot, but it is the mindset we must take.

if you are not rebuilding you are trying to win the flag. however i would think this year might be more about educating the young players and the older players winning back some respect for themselves. but yeah i agree, the mindset should be to go into every game with the desire to win it and the belief that we CAN win it.

90% of football is played above the shoulders. Get some conifedence back, get on a roll and the wins can come just like 2001. The other teams are only human.

we also have the element of surprise, not only are teams expecting us to be crap, we have a totally new look side AND a new game plan. will be very hard for opposition teams to plan against us especially in the early part of the season. may take a few scalps that way.
