Hi BF Lawn Crew

I need to buy a new mower.
We are renting in a townhouse with a small backyard so not much lawn to mow.

What budget mower would you recommend?

Cheers

I got mine off a verge collection.
What are the other townhouse people doing - can you borrow one of theirs every couple of weeks.

They must bum a lawnmower of a mate once every 3-4 months as their lawns are always disgraceful.

My lawnmower recently died. Not that it was ever the 1st fairway at Huntingdale but it was in ok nick.

Knowing my luck if I tried for a verge collection lawnmower the campaigner wouldn’t work.

Way back when we lived in a semi with a backyard that was probably 3x4 meters and a front yard that was smaller, we got one of those old style powerless push ones. It took me less than 5 minutes to do both.

If you only have a tiny bit of grass in a townhouse, you might want to look into a small battery mower or even a manual push reel one.

They are super quiet and you won't have to deal with petrol or maintenance for such a small area. Check out some of the entry level cordless ones at Bunnings, they usually do the trick for small yards.
