Okay, it is time for the next number; #6.

Clayton Lamb, Tony Modra, James Byrne, Ben Nelson, Fergus Watts, Jonathon Griffin, Jack Gunston (also wore 28), Luke Thompson (also wore 28), Jake Lever.

We all know most are going to pick Modra....for obvious reasons....I would like the fans who never actually saw Mods play to have a crack at another player. I would be keen to know who the best #6 that you actually saw play.

Oh and I am picking Mods. One of the best forwards I have ever seen play the game. I can't even see one player getting close to him.....if Gunston had stayed....I reckon he would have been good competition for Mods....but he is a jerk because he left the way he did.

Gunston will never get near the level Modra was. I reckon most sensible hawk supporters would agree with this.

Apart from Mods the only other players who have looked any good in #6 were Gunston and Lever. Gunston still ahead at the moment but in a year or 2 Lever should eclipse him for sure, there's a lot to like about what I've seen from him so far.

Modra easily. Looks like #6 has been pretty much cursed since he left.
Hoping Lever breaks that curse, he's second on that list already after one season and I hope he rivals Mods by the end of his career.
