Lindsay brings a manic forward pressure that no replacement on our list could bring. He is involved in a majority of our forward pressure. It's his offensive output that is missing.

Spittas numbers would be better if he wasn't sacrificing his onball time. He simply gets found out in space. Replacing him with a pure outside type will hurt us on the inside where the play is created.

Jack........well geez.........I long for the time when we can reduce his in and under clearance requirements and get him more on the outside. He will become a 50% more damaging player.
LT is hurting us at the moment. Undisciplined Lindsay is out there. He needs to go back to the VFL, clear his head, play some good footy and wait for his chance to come.

45 years says hello...
We should be rebuilding and dropping underperforming players like spitta and LT but we won't and we will continue down this stubborn rabbit hole that Scott has dug..
We have talented young players who will be here next year and the years after, Scott and the club used that reason to not offer a contract to a guy who would have made a difference over the last 5 weeks in Boomer, he was thrown off the bus for the good of the future so why should dropping a few underperforming senior players be so hard.

He's not getting the rub of the green either with Umpires...there were two frees he should have got last night...just exacerbates his frustration.

He's going that shit at the moment he won't get them either. It's just the way footy goes. The worse you're going the less you get. When he's strutting around, playing with confidence he gets them.

I was made to sit to the end by my Filth loving relative.

Unsurprisingly he was not at the game when Maj stood on their heads last year.
The campaigners never are. When they beat us I'm surrounded by Collingwood mates. When we win.....****en tumbleweeds.

Serious questions need to be asked to the club why a legend in boomer was delisted yet they cannot drop senior underperforming players. I really wish fans could protest this

I haven't read past this page I see no need. I know what it will say.

I don't think Brad is a bad coach he is a very bad player manager. I admit I was disappointed when we decided one KPF would suffice....... 9 goals later and who honestly was surprised we could not kick a winning score?

Garner and Simpkin seem to have come for the heavens- thank bloody God. So what do we do ? Continue to play Thomas and have decided Turner is best 22, 4 of 5 games this year have been below par. He though is loved by the coach so is in no immediate danger of losing his spot.

How many ******* small forwards does this dill coach of ours think we need to play weekly? Is it any ******* wonder we get overrun when he have guys playing that don't touch the ball?

We've found two young fwds, drop the other ones and set the balance straight FFS.

And now he's talking finals, he like me has realised with our easy draw we could sneak into an elimination final and get slaughtered.

Well all I've got is.....

I don't agree with the assumption that LT'Ss forward pressure is irreplacable. I think it quite replacable. The inclusions of Garner and Turner have made him somewhat redundant in his current form and as naturally north has stated above the current balance in the forward line contains too many of a similar ilk which impacts upon rotations. A proper mid rotation would be a better option than LT at the minute IMO.

Spitz is sacrificing on ball time so the call to replace him with a pure outside type is redundant and not what i would propse. A player who can chop out inside but link the lines too is required and i believe that with Higgins in there as well as say a Clarke would go a way to alleviate that. Unfortunately the use of Cunners and Dumont as two primary contested mids has made Swallow a round peg sqaure hole and we shouldn't have to sacrifice to shoehorn him in.

And JZ, yep, needs to be utilised differently but we can only do that by having options that can, again, play both in and out.

Playing out of form/out of role players does us no good in the short or long term, especially when we have options running around at VFL level who are showing form and have attributets that can be just as if not weven more effective. I think the coach is still showing that he is too emotionally invested in individuals and as a consequence the team is out of balance and suffering.

Like you're an aficionado. You can't even answer one simple question. Why do Sporting Organisations of Note have Coaches? Your views on this topic are irrelevant. :stern look
LOL. Nice work mav. But does Bills answer the question? Of course not. SAWFT Bills. SAWFT!

True in fact selecting him is making it worse for him and the team.

In all seriousness what is the board doing while out of form players continue to get selected?
Brad hasn't got the balls to do it so maybe the blame should lie on the board also.
I'm sick of hearing it i'm sick of saying it and the reason this place is an echo chamber is these things continue to happen.
I've had a gutfull it hurts it ******* kills me/us as a supporter.

We aren't a bad team and we will improve in the next few years but we are stuck with a clown as coach and the board needs to do something.

Well start moderating to those who want to win not the "baddies" you shut down.

It's the *heads who back Scott etc who ruin discussion, like the IR, KK etc blokes who blow him.
I moderate based on the rules of the forum. A forum is for open discussion. Just because people are disagreeing with you does not mean they are "ruining" discussion.

Exactly. I welcome the Myriad of Pro Scotts Turkeys into this thread as it enables me to point out their stupidity. Problem is they're too stupid to understand the failings in Scotts coaching and how over his tenure we have wallowed in the sea of mediocrity. This is why I'm constantly posting 3 simple words in their native tongue. Gobble, Gobble, Gobble. :stern look
