There are obviously some people on here that don't have a life, so spend all their weekends sitting alone in front of a computer, quite sad really. I for one prefer having fun on the weekends.

Oh & I will only be here during work hours to at the moment, as my home PC finally died yesterday.
Cheers

In a piece of investigative journalism that rivals Berstein and Woodward at the Washington Post when they brought down Nixon via Watergate, dim24 will bring the house down on the North Melbourne Football Club. And it was I that was caught holding the smoking gun.

The truth of the matter is this. I am a member of a top secret cadre of North Melbourne fans, the Royal Blue Berets. Under the cover of night, our unit breaks into the homes of North Melbourne fans, and we kidnap them at gunpoint, and take them to our secret basement at Arden Street. When there, we put a membership form in front of them to sign while in an adjoining room with a one way mirror, we show them their loved ones, tied to a seat with a gun to their head. Only when the funds are transferred do we let them go.

So there you have it. The truth behind North's membership numbers and how we use force to sign them up. It's a dirty job, but someone had to do it.

Listen, limpboner,

Your interpretation once again shows your immaturity. If I were to say : "North are shit", then your literal interpretation of my statement would no doubt lead you to believe that North are actually a pile of faeces.

Kangaroos fans (and Hawthorn and the Bulldogs for that matter) are more likely to buy a membership per capita, due to the financial instability of those clubs. Obviously they are not literally forced, but Roo fans know that it is more important for them to put their money where their mouth is, since the survival of the club is at stake. I would have thought this was a pretty simple concept to understand.

Obviously what I wrote was too complicated for you to understand properly. Oh well.......at least I reeled you in again, limpboner.

Dimness

The overt implication in your post is that North members aren't willing to be members but only do so to relieve some of the financial burden on the club. Where is your proof of this? When was I "forced" to take out membership? What a load of steaming....! As usual you have to invent scenarios to bolster your lameass arguments. We're impressed though...we really are. And as for Shinners conspiracy satire it was truly wasted on someone as blind to irony as you.

The "proof" is that North have a small supporter base, but a large membership. Not too difficult to understand, really. Are you going to tell me they don't have a small supporter base? Compared to some of the other clubs, it is tiny.

If you want me to prove that they buy memberships because the club is in finacial trouble, I can't prove this. You'd have to survey every member and ask them.

But it doesn't take a genius to work out that Hawthorn, the Bulldogs and North have large memebrships relative to their supporter bases. It doesn't take a genius to work out that these three clubs have had their survival threatened in the last 5 years.

So, therefore, it doesn't take a genius to work out that a large number of these supporters but a membership to help their club financially. Essendon and Carlton supporters are less likey to buy a membership for financial reasons, because the future of those clubs is secured.

Why in the f*ck is this blatantly obvious point creating such debate??????

Oh Darky I had to reply. I know this is an Essendon bashing post but where do you get 30,000 members from. Last year you only had 22,000. All well and good, maybe some of them should actually go to a game or two. We had more people turn up to watch an intra club game at Collingwood than you get in a regular AFL match. Oh and yes you do have Rocca, but dont worry with a good pre season he'll come good. I have been saying that for 7 years bud. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE.
Oh and watch out, Carey the farey is back this week. I'm shaking in my boots. At least Bruce Mc will be licking his lips so he can go suck his **** as he always does.

Where have all the Bombers gone to?
