As a Victorian I feel duty bound to take an interest in all Melbourne clubs and do my bit, when necessary (ie. St Kilda, Richmond), to help out financially if asked to. I'm concerned about the future of the Roos but, to some extent, this concern is tempered by the fact that the club appears to have things under control - they've detailed a plan to turn things around. Also, money coming from the TV deal will help. Also the AFL don't appear hell bent on ensuring their demise as was the case with Fitzroy.

What really shits me, though, are posts such as those of Gwim Weaper. It takes an minute amount of factual information and embelishes and exagerates it to suit his shit-stirring needs. If someone is stuiped enough to challenge his bullshit with facts, he just changes his bullshit. The 9 mil. owed for instance, was covered by Carter and a few others??? 9 million dollars!! Even billionare Joe only pitched in for two or three.

So I have an idea - just ignore his posts. Don't respond to them. 99% of the people on this forum (including the non Victorians) are supportive of the Roos and wish them every success (off field). The other 1% such as Gwim Weaper appear to be nervous types requiring help (urgent help). So let's continue with our usual stuff and leave the 'special' people to play with themselves.
