Hodge has had a great couple of weeks, though was held well today. The same can be said of Croad. Crawf started slower than usual, but was in fine form today.
However, since Round 3, Campbell Brown has been consistently fantastic, especially doing the hard work off the ball. A prime example was his shepherd for Crawford today, resulting in a goal. He's chipped in with a few handy goals, provided a lead up forward and a link through the centre of the ground. He is still very tough, laying numerous bone-crunching tackles and bumps today.
Perhaps one of the most impressive things is his change in attitude. While maintaining his ferocity at the ball, Browny has curbed some of his more violent tendancies and is training harder than ever. As much as I loved him bringing back the biff, he's such an important part of our side and it's great to see him playing consistently great footy.
No matter how much we'd love to see him headbut Nathan Thompson, I'd much rather have him scaring everyone - Archer included - away from the ball.
Keep up the great work Browny!
